4 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 02/06/2013

I have a snapped off parking brake component beneath my dash rendering the parking brake inoperative. I have already paid classic Chevrolet to fix this same exact issue two years ago and it has just snapped again in the same way under the dash using all new correct parts.

5 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2012

The vehicle display idicates "service stability" and the vehicles abs system begins to grab intermitantly causing the vehicle to shake and lose speed drastically. Once pulled off the road if the vehicle is shut off and allowed to sit for a few seconds and restarted it will operate properly again. This icident happend approxitley once in June, twice in July, and several times now in August. I thought that maybe it was fluke issue that could be explained by weather as we had exceptionally hot summer thus far. However it is to the point now where I have to take the vehicle intoa repair shop to avoid having my wife in an accident. ## VIN failed ## GMC denali xl 2005 ##.

6 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2010

I live in san francisco and was driving down my street. I live on a steep hill and my brakes and power steering failed. I had my truck towed to the nearest repair shop and found that there is a known defect in the gasket between the power steering and the brake system. It fails. GMC knows this. I have had this gasket replaced three times in 5 years and it has failed again. What can I do?.

7 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 02/10/2006

On my 2005 GMC Yukon, after about 6 months or so, during braking, there was a loud grinding/slipping feeling, that felt like it came from the front end. After getting the brakes checked out, I was told they were fine. Took the vehicle to another place, and they duplicated the sound and changed the rear brakes. Didn't hear the noise for about a month, then it came back. Still feels and sounds the same. Took it back to the shop. They said the front brakes were fine but I wanted them changed anyway. So they did. Noise still there. Anyone else with this issue? the noise and feel occur when slowing down to a stop or turn from normal travel speeds on highway or roadway.

8 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 09/10/2005

I have a brake problem, the dynamic electronic brake system turns on at times during running and the rim heats up and a strong smell of brakes comes out, on two occasions the rear tires exploded and I caused an accident on the highway. When the vehicle was new in 2005, the dealer changed the brakes, abs and other components, but they were not responsible for the problem, then in 2010 again, I changed all the components related to the brakes but it remains the same. Sometimes the dynamic brake is activated and the rings and rear rubbers are heated. I do not use the vehicle for long roads for safety. I bought it in 2005 and it now has 73,100 miles. I am looking for if any dealer or owner in the USA has or had the same problem. Thank you. .
