2014 GMC Yukon. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle sudden acceleration and brake system failure. The consumer stated when he exited out of a parking lot, he mae a right turn and when he attempted to accelerate, the vehicle went into low gear and took off down the freeway. He released the released the accelerator some, but the vehicle did not stop. The consumer stomped on the brake, but to no avail. The consumer then noticed the cruise control was activated, but it wasn't activated by him. So he deactivated the cruise control the vehicle finally settled down and stopped accelerating and he was able to regain control.
