Other Fuel System problem #1

Engine stalling, a rough-running engine, reduced power mode (sluggish acceleration), a "check engine" light, or the vehicle failing to start. It started puttering really bad and died in the middle of the intersection. Check engine light came on. I got it to start, was really hard start and puttered bad then it died again and then I got it to start again, was a really hard start and puttered and died again. I was able to start it again get in the driveway but couldn’t go very fast. Check engine codes present are p2635 and p018b.

Other Fuel System problem #2

High pressure fuel pump regulator failed and cause gas leaking, reduced engine power and gas smell coming back in vehicle. It was also blowing out white smoke. It had delayed ignition starting. The engine light did come on. Several makes and models of GMC has had recalls for this problem. The 2017 GMC Yukon was not included for this recall and should have been.

Other Fuel System problem #3

Engine check light on, code p0302 cylinder 2 misfire. Loud mortar ticking, car makes abrupt jump/move forward.

Other Fuel System problem #4

I bought the vehicle in October 2024 ever since then I have been trouble with the differential, the automatic starter doesn't start the vehicle unless you are at least one feet away from the vehicle. I drove to work when I got off and got in my vehicle my check engine light was on. The vehicle was saying there was an issue with the battery, antilock braking system. I bought an extended warranty up to 150,000, I currently have 63,400 on my vehicle. Empire Buick GMC of white plains has not been honoring my warrantee, I had to rent a car to get back and forth to work because of fear of riding the nyc subway.

Other Fuel System problem #5

The transmission failed while merging and almost caused a collision. After a complete transmission replacement, the fuel injectors failed causing the same issue. Gm extended fuel injector warranty due to the number of similar issues, but not in my state.

Other Fuel System problem #6

My car is not shifting right. I took it into GMC, and they said they corrected it. I have taken in two times for this issue already. Today I almost was in a car accident because the car would not shift properly and it shoved me forward like a car hit me from the back. The car is not shifting properly at all. And now it’s making a muffling sound and it’s like stuck in a gear. I pulled over and I parked and then I reversed and then I went to hit the gas again to try to go slowly and it jolted forward again. This is serious and needs repaie.

Other Fuel System problem #7

The vehicle is misfiring and rough idling while driving. This vehicle has four of the eight fuel injectors misfiring while in operation. Although the dealership only diagnosed two of them I took it to another shop who diagnosed that 4 and 8 are also misfiring.

Other Fuel System problem #8

Brake problems when starting brakes loose vacuum pressure still no fix after recall. 2nd check engine light came on at about 36,500 miles fuel injectors defective 3rd transmission problems valve body defective paid over 85,000 and this SUV its not worth it defective all defectives under 43,000 miles.

Other Fuel System problem #9

The information screen on the gauge cluster sometimes will stop working. This is dangerous as it is the only part that shows if the vehicle is in park, reverse, nuetral, or drive. It also is the only part that shows the vehicles fuel level, blinker, cruise control, temperature and other warnings and controls. This is a common problem for the 2015- xxxx Yukon and tahoe.

Other Fuel System problem #10

Vehicle has a rough idle at cold start. Also misfires at stoplights and random times. Vehicle stalled once this morning completely. Told by my GMC dealership this is a common problem and I would have to replace all fuel injectors for over $2,000. I just purchased this vehicle in March. The fuel injectors are on back-order currently so I am unable to have it repaired. I was told another vehicle like mine at that service center has been waiting already for 6 weeks for fuel injectors and that I would have to wait at least another month. This means I will not be able to register my vehicle with my state as it will not pass smog inspection with a check engine light. I have been unable to register it due to the dmv closure from covid-19. Its very dangerous to drive a vehicle that can stall at any moment and is impossible to fix without waiting for parts. These parts are obviously on back-order so long because this is a widespread problem. I found a service bulletin from NHTSA ( dcs5097 ) which covers my problem exactly. But for some unknown reason, special coverage only applies to 13 states. I believe this is a much more widespread problem than thought and I believe my safety and the safety of those around me is at risk if I drive this vehicle. My vehicle and those like mine should be covered by special coverage as well. And at the very least the parts to fix this should be available given that its been a known issue now for well over a year. These parts have been back-ordered way before covid-19 even hit, so it cannot be attributed to that. Gm has an obligation to keep their vehicles on the road safe and maintained to the best of their ability and when it comes to this issue they are failing to do so.

Other Fuel System problem #11

Purchased a used 2017 GMC Yukon denali with almost 36,000 miles. 4 days after the purchase my engine light came on. Next morning the vehicle was not driving right, very slow moving (couldn't go faster than 45 miles per hour), very shaky, loud, felt like it was either going to die on me or blow up. Had onstar check it out with several issues reported, took to dealership right away. 3 fuel injectors were failing and were replaced still under warranty. Fuel injector #3 was replaced prior to my purchase of this vehicle and now again replaced along with injector #5 & #8. 2 weeks later engine light came on again. Drove ok, took to dealership, fuel injector #1 now going out. Parts on back order. . . . Got a call this morning that parts are in (had to wait over a week). I am now over the 36,000 miles and will therefore be paying to replace this injector. Opted to have all the other injectors replaced as well. Very disappointed in this vehicle as it is only 2 years old. I am a single mom and need a reliable vehicle, which this vehicle is less than reliable. Had this vehicle a month and its been nothing but a headache and in the shop 3 times. These issues must be common since the fuel injectors were on backorder and this problem should have a recall.

Other Fuel System problem #12

This is about a 2017 Yukon xl break failing to operate the previous 2016 Yukon models have the same issue and have a recall bulletin pit5361b and the dealer does not want to address or acknowledge the problem.

Other Fuel System problem #13

I have 47,078 miles on this vehicle. It currently has a random misfire that is being blamed on bad fuel injectors. To replace all of my fuel injectors will cost me approximately $1783. 00 at my local dealership as my vehicle is 10,000 miles over warranty. I shouldn't have to be replacing fuel injectors on a 1 year old vehicle. It runs on limited power mode when I start it. I have to start it and then shut it off again for it to run in normal operation but it still shows a misfire code.

Other Fuel System problem #14

The vehicle seems to occasionally stall/sputter when accelerating/proceeding from a stop position at a light or stop sign. Even though on a smooth road surface, the right wheel seems to vibrate. The engine stall is the same instance which occurred in the 2015 vehicle that I traded because it left me stranded. The wheel shaking is not a continuous event. The stalling occurs frequently. An appointment has been scheduled for Monday 8/13 for a dealer inspection of my complaint. Vehicle will be left over and a loaner provided.

Other Fuel System problem #15

May 17, 2018 check engine light came on while driving. Dealership said injector #3 was bad. Replaced same day. Then check engine light came on again while driving on 6/13/18. Dealership said injector #6 is bad. In progress of replacing it. This is a new vehicle with 13,000 miles on it currently. Bought the vehicle new from the dealership Sep 30th, 2017. Two bad injectors in 9 months with the occurrences happening within less than a month of each other? something has to be causing the injectors to go bad.
