The contact called the dealer about the failure and was informed that there were no recalls or warranties on the vehicle associated with the failure. The contact was also informed that the repair would be an out-of-pocket expense. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. 2 Tail Light problem

Failure Date: 03/06/2022

The contact owns a 2017 GMC Yukon. The contact stated the failure experienced was the right rear passenger taillight not working while pressing on the brakes at a stop sign. The contact did not take the vehicle to be repaired or diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 53,570.

3 Tail Light problem

Failure Date: 09/17/2021

The contact owns a 2017 GMC Yukon denali xl. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact was alerted by other drivers that the taillights were inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnosed as a power train failure. The driver’s and passenger’s side taillights were replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The contact was referred to NHTSA to file a complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 131,000.
