The contact owns a 2023 GMC Yukon xl. The contact stated that immediately after purchasing the vehicle, the battery failed and was replaced on two separate occasions. Additionally, while driving or reversing, the braking system erroneously activated, causing the vehicle to abruptly stop. During the failure, there were no other vehicles or large objects nearby to cause the forward collision avoidance system to activate. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer on several occasions, but no failures were found. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not yet been contacted. The failure mileage was 50.
