Rear doors opening while driving without notice. Child almost fell out of the car on main road. 2nd incident is less than 6 months. Same car.
Hello,I would like to file a complaint for general motors for untimely recall remedy and failure to fix recall it’s been 6 months since the recall and there’s no remedy no estimate on it and no update from dealer or gm . My vehicle turned on the check engine and transmission on the app (in car said check 4x4) the turned off the next day why is that is it going bad ? the paint is peeling the exterior plastic is fading white ,bumper in not aligned the front door frames are not aligned and plastic near auto steps ,and are loose the marker lights are getting bugs in and the turn signal stalk is cracking and the vehicle is also rusting this is very unacceptable and you need to take action against gm and make them give updates and immediately issue the remedy if not I need a buy back . VIN -1gks2jkl0rr162207 TX also the vehicle value went down 30,000 it’s worth 70,000 I bought it for 100,000 what will be the resolution on this will I get it back what is gm doing to fix that yall need to take action or your issue buy backs brand new 25 Yukon or 30,000 towards next car.
While super cruise was engaged the car changed lanes automatically without any action on my part. The problem is I had set the automatic lane change feature to only activate when the turn signal was switched. While examining the vehicle settings I discovered that the feature was set to automatic not turn signal activated. What cause the software to change this setting? the service tech could not find any problem but guessed that when the software is updated it goes to a default setting. This is wrong. Setting should not change. The setting also changed on opening the tail gate with my foot. This setting was turned off.
I am filing a complaint regarding a potential safety defect in my 2024 GMC Yukon denali (approx. 25,000 miles), which has been in the dealership’s service department for about 30 days due to a faulty valve body in the transmission system. There is currently no estimated date for repair completion due to a lack of available parts. This is the second time the vehicle has been in the shop for the same unresolved issue. Earlier in 2025, I brought the car in due to driveability concerns and error messages appearing on the dash, but the dealership dismissed it and claimed I had “turned the vehicle on wrong,” despite it having a push-button start. The problem persisted until June 2025, when they finally diagnosed the valve body failure. This issue directly affects drivability and vehicle safety, particularly during acceleration and gear shifting. I am concerned that general motors is aware of widespread valve body and transmission failures in these vehicles, yet continues to produce and sell new units while failing to ensure parts are available to support timely repairs. It is unacceptable that a major safety-related transmission issue can sideline a relatively new vehicle for over a month with no resolution in sight. Gm’s lack of urgency in addressing this defect suggests a disregard for consumer safety and reliability. I respectfully request that the NHTSA investigate this issue as a potential pattern of safety defects in gm’s full-size SUV transmission systems.
Engine was replaced 11/24 found toe bar loose and rear passenger tire had excessive slack in it, well liners were broken off and missing 2/25 oil loss and had to have oil changed early 4/21 start button will not engage, truck is completely blacked out, no power to it for several minutes then it will crank. Been in the shop as of now 3 times in the month of may 2025.
Driving on highway. The vehicle jerked and started to make squeaking, clunky sounds. Gas stopped flowing to the vehicle. Then the vehicle became inoperable. No warning light or alerts or sounds occurred before or after. It was a complete surprise.
I purchased my new GMC Yukon xl in October 2024. In February, with about 9,000 miles on it, I was approaching a highway intersection and beginning to brake. My vehicle put itself into neutral, and then shut off -- while I was still moving. No dash lights came on, except for a message stating that I needed to press the brake and restart my vehicle. I took my vehicle into the dealership where I purchased it and they kept it for 8 days. They were unable to reproduce the issue and didn't do anything to mitigate the problem except for doing a "radio update" and adding lubricant to a window track. I was told I have to wait until it happens again and try to record it.
I want to report the dealership, hill GMC, in newtown square PA and the salesman, vince pace, that special ordered this vehicle for me in December of 2023 knowing full well that these cars had an engine problem. It was deceitful and cunning. I purchased a GMC 2024 Yukon denali for $102,000 I am a senior citizen and I was taken full advantage of in this fraudulent sale.
Audio intermittently goes out. This includes radio sound, onstar blinker indication sound, audible safety warnings and pedestrian alerts.
