The accelerator stuck on our 2001 Yukon slt while descending hoosier pass (eastbound on hwy 9 west of alma, CO). The brakes failed while trying to slow/stop vehicle. I downshifted to slow our vehicle to a speed and my wife and I exited (jumped out while vehicle was still moving) before going off embankment. My wife jumped first, then I did, just before the vehicle went off the side of the pass. Trees, rocks, and embankment stopped the vehicle approx 150ft down the side of the pass. 2001 Yukon slt, VIN 1gkek13t91j179926. Insurance claim still in progress.
