1 Warning problem of the 2025 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 01/06/2026

This has happened twice. Once in November 2025 and then in January 2026. With super cruise engaged while going around a curve super cruse disengages and the steering wheel turns to driving straight. You have about one or two seconds to take control or crash. This happened while driving about 70 mph on interstate I 70 and next on ohio 122 going about 45 mph. On I 70 it was a gentle curve and on 122 it was a much sharper curve. Super cruse must give a warning that it about to disengage that is much longer than one or two seconds.

5 Warning problem of the 2022 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 03/06/2022

The heads up display starting with the 2022 model removed the colored lane departure warning from the sides of the road graphic that is in line with the road and moved it to a very small display to the left side of the driver's field of view. Now to see the lane departure warning requires a shift of the driver's view to the left and a head tilt if wearing progression bifocals. On prior year models the colored warning provided an early alert well before the seat vibrates as the warning. Taking my vision off the road caused me to come up on a very slow moving car that required the automatic braking to slow my vehicle.
