1 Rear Suspension problem

Failure Date: 03/15/2007

The contact owns a 2000 Honda Accord. The rear stabilizer link on the right hand side was defective and needed to be replaced. The failure mileage was 88,000. The manufacturer stated that there were no recalls for this vehicle, and advised him to call the NHTSA hotline. The contact was aware of bulletin# 05-0201. The dealer stated that the contact was responsible for the repairs. The contact filed a complaint with Honda ,and the case # was n012007-03-1601383. The current mileage was 88,175. The consumer stated only one side of the stabilizer was broke, however the dealer stated both sides would need to be replaced because the old links were defective and have been redesigned.
