general problems of the 2005 Honda Accord

Occasionally when coming to a full stop the engine will sudden rev and try to pull the car forward. Remaining on the brake will hold the car, slowly lifting the brake will allow the car to move forward a short distance and revving will cease.

I was driving in kansas city kansas. On 635, it was around 6 pm. When I started exiting onto another highway. Due too car stalling by either transmission slipping, or the fuel pump stalling the engine . Headlights too dim with weird angle in lighting as well, longstory short. . . . I was almost the cause of a massive wreck . . . It made for a quiet drive home. . . So I was also going to see if they've had a recall on 2005 Honda Accord aside from airbags.

My car stalls and lost power when I was driving on freeway at high speed and when I accelerate, car is almost lost power and I have to slow down.

My airbags are off my door lock is broke I tried to lock the car one day the alarm went off and when I tried to put the key in the driver door the spring popped out so I haven't been able to lock my car . I put my car in the shop and once I did a few days later the maintenance required light came on.

Engine stalled multiple times while driving (at various speeds) and almost caused crash. Vehicle sometimes will not start, idles erratically while running or while driving, or stalls without warning while driving. Apparently there is a recall for this issue on other 2005 Honda Accords however when I look up my vehicle's VIN, there is no recall. I called Honda and they too said there is no coverage for this repair as my vehicle is not included in the recall.

My alternator is covered in alternator fluid including my serpentine belt all the way to my power steering reservoir . Also I've been noticing a loss of power in my vehicle , when I pump gas I try to fill it up and it wont fill up all the way to full it stays 1/4 less of full . Other thing is I had to take off the fuse for the radio due to the radio making loud popping sounds and turning of and on the speakers are fine its all original . This past weekend I noticed also when I was about to hit the road I wanted to set it on cruise control and it didnt work at all only the cruise control light was on and I used it a couple of times this year without problems till now . This week im going to the dealer to have my airbags fixed again due to an airbag recall .

The car went into full throttle while waiting at a light while my foot was on the brake, throwing me out and into the intersection and getting hit by on coming traffic. My foot was no where near or on the gas pedal.

Severely malfunctioning pollution control system or engine failure that emits burning oil and toxic smoke. This vehicle wa plate awj1933 was emitting burning oil and nitrous oxide components that were visible to the human eye. This vehicle was at the intersection of 112th Ave/gher rd and sr500. It was idling and polluting cancerous clouds. It seems there is no online reporting form for vehicle air pollution in wa state, but there is one in oregon.

May 4, 2015, 2005 Honda Accord v6 stalled and all systems non-functional while driving. Accord rear-ended a car at rest at a stop sign. In November 2011, the transmission gave out on freeway. Vehicle stayed on and I was able to quickly coast off the freeway, but drive train was out and needed to be replaced (105k miles). This transmission failure seems to be consistent with other NHTSA reports. In April, 2011 the Accord began stalling and all systems failed while the car was in drive and moving. In may, 2012 the dch Honda of temecula found faulty throttle sensor and replaced the part. The vehicle has not experienced this problem again until this failure and accident. I see several reports of Accords stalling on this site. Is this a known problem? my daughter was fortunate this didn't happen when approaching oncoming traffic or the freeway. This seems like a serious safety issue.
