Sudden side wall failure of the right front tire of my 2006 Honda Accord. The michelin tire was original equipment on the car. During low speed driving a hole about 4 inches by 3 inches blew out of the tire. It looks as if the belts are totally detached from the outside rubber of the tire. On looking on the internet I found scores of complaints about similar failures.
While going around a corner off a highway my rear driverside tire blew out causing my car to go off the side of the road hitting a sign and causing damage to the entire driver side of my vehicle.
2006 Honda Accord windshield is wavy and difficult to see out of. There was also a tire blow out. The consumer contacted the dealer and manufacturer. They both claimed the wavy windshield was due to the aerodynamics.
2006 Accord tire blew out at 70 mph. Michelin refused to honor the warranty claiming that the consumer some how damaged the tire. Updated 11/16/06.
