Odometer fraud. The contact purchased a 2007 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while attempting to register the vehicle, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 201,000 and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 309,000.
Odometer fraud. The contact owns a 2007 Honda Accord. The contact purchased the vehicle from a private seller on July 27, 2025. The contact stated that the advertisement and the odometer indicated that the mileage was 151,640. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. The contact purchased a carfax report which indicated that the last service date was October 22, 2024, at the nevada department of motor vehicle, where the mileage was reported as 221,478. The seller was not made aware of the issue.
