Seat Belt problem #1

Traffic bumper to bumper as 5 pm, stop and go near traffic lights. Tapped SUV ahead and despite very very slow speed and not even scratch on my 2009 Honda Accord coupe - the drivers air bag deployed & seatbelt locked up. Contacted Honda corporate where they opened case and promised “taking care of, shouldn’t have happened, and not to worry”. 2 weeks later Honda changed response when I called for update and told me to deal with my insurance company. Very unpleasant & unprofessional. Car evaluated and needed seatbelt & air bag replacement. They too confirmed not even scratch front of car, only has 83k miles! now everyone claiming no seatbelts available.

Slid into a curb. Locked up the seat belt, did not deploy airbags. I thought it was lifetime warranty on seat belts. Honda charged me $469 to replace driver side seat belt. Srs system would not reset. Now it points to front sensors. Honda wants $859 to replace front sensors and srs control unit.

Air bag lamp came on and would not go out, then later, the warning buzzer and seat belt warning lamp quit working. Srs cotrol unit failed after 32,188 miles.

While making lane change, side curtain airbag, seat, and seatbelt retractor, deployed with out any contact to vehicle. 2009 Honda Accord located in orlando. Airbags, controller module, headliner, and seat have not been replaced yet. Seatbelt retractor was replaced with original Honda part.

The contact owns a 2009 Honda Accord. While driving through the intersection approximately 5 mph, a vehicle moving in the opposite direction crashed into the contact's vehicle. The seat belts failed to restrain the control. The air bags did not deploy. The contact and two passengers sustained injuries. There was a police report filed. The current and failure mileages were approximately 27,000.

The contact owns a 2009 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the rear middle seat belt had a design flaw. The buckle was too short to connect to the latch housing and the passenger was unable to engage the seat belt. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for inspection but was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 10,000. The VIN was unavailable.
