My air bag light went on for unknown reason.
Airbag component control doesn't work which mean airbag won't deploy.
The contact's daughter owned a 2010 Honda Accord. According to an accident report given to the contact by her local highway patrol office, her daughter was driving at 45 mph when the vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree. The impact of the vehicle hitting the tree caused the vehicle to catch fire. Based on the accident report, the airbags did not deploy upon impact. The report stated that every bone in her daughter's body was broken; she died as a result of the accident. The report stated that the vehicle burned to it's core and that a specialist had to be called to the scene to identify the vehicle. The contact initially reported her daughter missing and was informed 7 days later about her daughter's accident. The vehicle was towed to an independent tow yard where it was destroyed . The contact called an unknown Honda dealer and they stated that they had never heard of such a failure with that model vehicle; the dealer referred her to the NHTSA for assistance. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Passenger air bag keeps going on and off . There is a electrical problem with the front and back locks . The vct actuator has gone bad on the car which cause it to make a loud rattle noise . There is also something under the car that's loosen underneath the car when you make a turn you hear a knocking noise .
I have a recall letter to fix my car about air bag seat.
The vehicle was involved in an accident where it went down a hill and struck a tree. The side curtain when deployed did not deploy correctly (they did not inflate they popped or exploded. A loss of the left arm was a result of the accident.
I was driving about 35-40 mph on a city street when a car in front had no lights in front of me was slowing down. I made impact with the car causing my head to hit the steering wheel knocking me out. My teeth were pushed in and three teeth had to be removed and my lip swelled up. If my airbag would of deployed I could of avoided these injuries.
For whatever reason since I got this car there is something extremely off with the laceration being a bit delayed and the car steering us extremely delicate keeping the car not steady driving in a single lane straight without going left or right is impossible. As well when extremely turning right or left steering wheel shakes a bit. I habe also just received a recall notice about my air bags.
Takata recall. I have been trying to get my dealership to get the part and I never hear from them and when I called they don't seem to have the information I previously gave them.
I was involved in accident today and to my surprise my airbags did not go off . Did not go off and I had them replaced after the recall for Honda Accords 2010.
It was a recall.
Abs/ airbag system staying on and it appears to be affecting charging system issues and/or alternator! diagnostic test show abs & charging system issues. My car is now inoperable!!.
Crown Honda at southpoint would not honor appointment time for recall replacement.
Excessive oil burning - vehicle has less than 100k miles is burning oil. No dipstick reading for oil in engine (for every 3,000 miles driven). Car pings and no or little power from engine due to oil loss. Dealer test stated 1/2qt of oil used every 1,000 miles. Typical Honda oil change is every, 7,500 miles (per their manual) - if waited that long no oil would be in engine. Dangerous and significant issue - Honda stated it will not fix and stated 1/2 qt of oil burned every 1,000 miles is not excessive or significant !! - from a car owner, it is very significant. Compound this with the months and months wait for the takata recall for air bags issue - the Honda 2010 crv has significant issues. I have a CO-worker that has a 2010 Acura with 300,000 miles and oil loss issues.
Airbag sign is always on even if no passenger or any object on the passenger side . The sign comes on when the driver is seated and the door is locked both in stationary and in motion.

The srs light has been on in my car for 4 months. I have received a recall notice but the dealer states it is not related to the srs light being on. However, I've been told my airbags won't deploy if I am in an accident.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Honda Accord. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v346000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
My srs light came on and when I took it to Honda of fishers in indiana I was told it would be a $100 just to run the diagnostics and since my specific model of car isn't under a current recall I would have to pay for any repairs needed out of pocket. This doesn't seem fair as my car should have a lifetime warranty on seat belts and related srs components. I would think they would at least provide a free diagnostics to make sure my airbags will work correctly as part of a safety matter. I found many 2010 Accords were recalled but apparently my Accord coupe wasn't.
The last written notice I received from Honda was dated 12/5/2016. I contacted Honda and was told that they would send me a notice when to come in to have the airbag replaced. I have heard nothing since then.

Takata recall I have a family and have been unable to use my vehicle as intended for the past five months due to the possible injury to passenger warning. I would like to sell my vehicle, but I am sure that the current recall will affect the resale value.
I haven't heard anything else from Honda regarding the airbags and I am scared to drive my vehicle.
