Had an experience with unintentional acceleration. On my way to work, coming around 10 west to 710 south transition, I fully depressed the gas pedal to pass a very slow moving car, coming out of the ramp that merges into fast 710 south traffic. I would estimate the gas pedal was fully floored 2-3 seconds. Then I lifted pressure, as I had enough momentum to pass the slower vehicle, but noticed the throttle was still wide open. I was going to shift to neutral, but I quickly stabbed the pedal and the throttle unstuck itself. Wow! that was pretty nerve racking! it happened only once so far.
