The steering rack (rack and pinion steering) assembly broke on my vehicle. The steel bar used to make this part should not be able to be broken let alone in the manner that it did. It sheared and there was no warning when it happened. It wasn't hit or under extreme strain. I am highly concerened this may be a serious safety issue for others in the future. Thankfully I was not traveling at a high rate of speed when it broke. Please look into this issue.
