1 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 09/19/2016

***happens when vehicle is parked and turned off*** this car has a "feature" that is not disclosed to customers upon purchase which can lead to a dangerous condition for property and the interior of the vehicle. If the key fob is placed in a pocket with keys (as everyone does), there is a combination of inadvertent button presses (specifically unlock / unlock / unlock) which causes all of the windows and the sunroof to open. This has lead to my car being soaked by having all the windows open during a rainstorm while I was inside my office (with the vehicle parked right outside - the key fob works from quite a far distance). It has also lead to my belongings being compromised due to all of the windows opening when I parked in the city and was sitting in a building with the keys in my pocket, among other times. When I returned to the selling dealer I was told that they were unaware of this feature and I should read the manual. It is not detailed in the manual and there is no way to disable it.

2 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 06/13/2015

Had gotten back in my car after a stop at a retail store. When I turned the car on the tire pressure light was blinking, the electric power steering light was on, and the vehicle stability assist light was on. I pulled over at another store within a half mile. I got out and checked the tires for a possible flat - no problem. Turned car back on and same scenario with the 3 lights on. Only difference was the tire pressure light stopped flashing but stayed on continuously. I looked in car manual, page 6 of Honda technology reference guide, under the heading of malfunction indicators and it said, "if an indicator remains on, there may be a problem; see your dealer". I will call my car dealer in the morning. I want to state that I still had full control of my power steering. I read of others losing the power steering but mine was okay. After the second stop the 3 malfunctioning indicator lights went out.

3 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 10/09/2013

On October 9 2013 I had gotten up to go to work, as I got up to go to work that morning I noticed that the seat. Did not move up ward. I started to drive to work but I was unconfortable in my seating position. So as I went to readjust the seat the who seat slammed to the floor of the car. And I felt like a lower whiplash to my lower back and spine. The seat fell back as I was driving and adjusting the seat I also turned my steering wheel almost into the on coming traffic and person next to me. I regained control of my car but now I was sitting on the lowest level of the seats position. I pulled over because my lower back was hurting and looked at the seat. Nothing had been tampered or touched. I then manually put the seat back into its upper positon since it now no longer could adjust with the electronic control. Forward, and back and down you could still move but upward no more. Again got back in my car only now to just move forward a few mph the seat again fell back due to the forward motion of the car and gravity. I took this to the Honda because it is a serious issue to shockley Honda only for them to say that it was out of warranty and wanted to charge me $120 to just look at the issue. And then to tell me it will take $1200 to fix it! so safety is not a concern only profit. I since have to put a box under the seat to keep it from sliding back and from hurting my back further more. But time to time the box moved and the seat continues to slide back and further injury to my back or if not address could cause futher injury to others due to loss of control of the car. I do not want to drive this car but I have to drive because it is still a car to get me to work.
