Car was in accident late August 2024. Car was brought to Honda dealership in harrisonburg, va. Repairs were made early September 2024 except for driver seat belt. Part is currently still on backorder with Honda (today is 1/16/2025). A case (#xxx) has been opened with Honda corporate but part has no estimated date available. Car can not be driven as it is not legal or safe to drive without part. Part must be a new part, no used or remanufactured part is acceptable. Honda continues to produce new vehicles with seat belts but they are not providing required safety parts for existing cars. Waiting 5 months is unacceptable and being without this car comes at expense and burden to us. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Car passed on my left - all was ok. Then as I went from the break peddle to the gas peddle, boom then driver side and driver seat airbags deployed on my 2015 Honda Accord, the steering wheel began to locked, pulling me towards the left, all of this without collision or known impact to the car.
