Owner was driving the 2015 Honda Accord hybrid on the freeway at speed limit (60mph) and suddenly the brake system failure warning light came on and the car was put on a "fail safe mode" or a driving speed of no more than 40mph. Luckily the owner was able to pull over to a safe area, called Honda for assistance and the car was towed to a Honda dealership. A diagnostic check was performed and an update of a vehicle software was made based on Honda service bulletin 15-057. I think Honda should recall all Honda Accord hybrid that have these issues immediately and have the vehicle software updated because of possible vehicle failure and injury to car occupants as being on a fail safe driving mode could happen anytime and could put the car occupants in a very dangerous and unsafe situation. .
I purchased this vehicle about 3 months ago. Honda states that the text messages will display on the Honda display as a hands free use. However, I have not been able to use this function. The car doesn't allow this function. I have done everything from resetting my phone and having the manufacture of the phone check it out. Honda, tells me that they are not compatible with the iphone 6, well, I feel that Honda should have an update on their software, so that people that have iphones will be able to use this feature that Honda adverstises.
