The rear camera on my Honda Accord has gone blank. There is no recall by Honda when I checked and with the camera out it is very dangerous when in reverse. I believe that water from washing the car or rainfall is causing the camera to go out as several times when I lifted the truck water would suddenly drip from the truck latch where the camera is located. Honda says I am out of warranty and it is about a 300. 00 repair.
I have had problems with the backup camera it outlines however the picture is not working and has been out for some time I have asked the Honda dealer to look at this matter and it was never resolved also took the car to be serviced many times, so I started taking the car for service else where and was told they can not help me, this is a safety matter I am looking to get this matter resolved I have been parking and avoiding backing up due to this problem I need answers and the problem fixed thank you mark paliotti.
