Failure Date: 01/18/2025

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled and shuddered. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights were intermittently illuminated. The failure had occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed and determined that the spark plugs, and air filters needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.

2 Ignition Coil Spark Plugs problem

Failure Date: 02/28/2022

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving at 25 mph, several unknown warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact drove safely to an unknown dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with spark plugs and electrical failures. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure had been reoccurring while driving. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 64,000.
