Warnings problems of the 2018 Honda Accord - part 2

Collision mitigation braking system problem. See your dealer. This has showed up 3 times on my car so far, 2 times in 6 days. Driving in good weather, clean highways, checked radar for debris and have not found any each time. Dealer says no code, nothing wrong! why is it telling me to "see dealer" ???? if nothing is wrong. All the safety, cruise and braking safety features were shut off, could not use cruise alone after. Happened once in 2020 and March 20&26 of 2021. Dealer keeps telling me nothing is wrong!.

Burning excessive gas. Every 2 days I have been filling my tank. Filled tank to half tank of gas and within less than 24 hours I am on empty. Forward collision goes off unexpectedly without anything in front of vehicle. There is a constant gas smell in the car while driving. My garage also has been stink with gas smell since the last 3 weeks consistently.

2 issues that I am having is that when I press the brake pedal the radio goes crazy ( interference). Dealer notified and apparently can not find anything wrong so no fix for it yet. The other issue is with cmbs it failed 2wice in the past 3 days. Conditions of the road were good, ( no snow, no rain) and the traffic was not heavy. Both times the system fails to operate mid cruse and shuts off. The only way to get it to work is by restarting the car but this is not an option driving on a highway.

The cmbs (collision mitigation braking system) had another failure. This is due to the radar sensor being blocked and then other safety systems in the vehicle having cascading failures. Last winter, the radar sensor had failed catastrophically and I had to take the vehicle in to the dealer where they, supposedly, performed some sort of an adjustment. During a phone call with a Honda representative, the representative claimed that "this would never happen again. " however, what happens now is I get an error message claiming that there is a failure in the cmbs system, every time the radar sensor is blocked, directing me to "take the vehicle to the dealer. " hence, she lied. Furthermore, the failures indicate Honda's failure in producing a safety system that is reliable in a wide range of weather conditions. Honda ceo recently claimed that Honda will be producing level 3 autonomous vehicles. That is horrifying, considering Honda can't even make a cmbs and a radar sensor that does not fail constantly. Please, please, please make Honda recall all the models which use the radar sensor and the cmbs that is similar to the one in the 2018 Accord before someone gets really hurt. Please.

For second time all safety warning lights appeared after starting engine including brake warning light. This occurred once before and took to dealer for a reset.

I've filed the specific issues in other complaints, but also wanted to input this for a record. After taking the card to the dealer, the dealer did not address any of the following: right door speaker rattle engine squeak (when shutting off) hood vibration did not troubleshoot the smell coming from the ventilation system. Did not apply the fix (if there was one) for the infotainment unit restarting abruptly. Did not look at as to why the display shows 100mph speed limit when there is no such thing in the the state of colorado (that I know of and certainly not where I was driving when this happened). Did not look at why the aux display has issues did not look at bluetooth connectivity issues. Did not look at problems with radar and the cmbs system. Of course, the usual response is "we drove it for an hour (if that) and did not see anything. ".

Car intermittently flashes all the cmbs lights and applies break on its own without any vehicle in front of the car. Honda dealership charged to diagnose a replace break switch. Problem still persist. Countless others are having same issue and reporting online forums and youtube. I almost got rearended multiple times due to this. Also when these lights come acive, drl sometimes do not work and reverse camera do not work. First happened June 2020(after issue, it allows the car to start without pressing break pedal), continues to happen often. Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting removes the issue for sometime then comes back few days to weeks/months later.

There are a lot of boxes it would not let me check. Started 2020. For no apparent reason the car will just lose all power and all the warning lights will go on. Some times it will just automatically break. Luckily the times it's happened I was city driving but had I been on freeway when it happened may have been dealt for myself and others. Car continues to have same problem, with losing power,all warning lights and breaks. If the 10amp fuse is out it does it. As you can see I've taken numerous times and paid lots of money. I was only aware of 2 recalls and would like to know about the others. I have a lot more to say.

Dealership 2019 stated fuel injector problems all of the sensor lighting systems are still lit up. Had to replace transmission 12/2019. Since then can not utilize the cruise. Now stating its a turbo wastegate issue.

The cmbs will slam on the brakes in wide open road condition. It happened at least 5 times. I have since made a habit to turn off the cmbs before I drive (going on 2 years turning it off). Almost caused an accident twice.

Problems with the front windows having issues with winding up or down and even moving out of chanel. Problems with the accs,lks due to malfunctioning camera which I had to replace however the dealer in jamaica will not reprogramme.
