The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving 73 mph, the vehicle ceased to accelerate with the check engine, brakes, and tire pressure warning lights illuminated. Additionally, the message indicating an engine failure and to contact the local dealer was displayed. The contact was able to pull over safely, turned off and restarted the vehicle however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as designed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and the contact was informed that the head gasket had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the VIN was not under recall. The failure mileage was 110,000.

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and the contact was informed that the vehicle was working as designed. The contact was informed to reset the tpms warning light whenever it was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
