The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that on three separate occasions, a bubble had formed on three different tires which resulted in the tires being replaced. On each occasion, an abnormal, thud-like sound was coming from the vehicle. Once the vehicle was taken for an inspection, the contact was notified that a bubble had formed on the tire. The contact stated that the failure had occurred twice with the rear passenger’s side tire, and once on the front driver’s side tire, each with a different tire brand. On the last occasion, the contact stated that while driving at 75 mph, the tire pressure warning light illuminated on the instrument panel with a burning rubber odor coming from the vehicle. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.
