Other Fuel System problem #1

On 5/8/25 when the light turned green at the stop light, my car shut down while the gear was on drive. It immediately came back on with the dashboard showing warnings for the (tpms), brakes system, stability system, among others. I accelerated while on drive but the car did not move forward. I turned the flashers on. I had cars behind me honking and going around me. I put the shifter in park. A car behind almost rear ended me. I tried a second time to go by shifting the gear to drive but I had no luck. I put it back in park and turned it off. I turned it back on and the dashboard seemed fine, the car accelerated when I shifted it to drive. This is the second time that the same car shut down on me, the first time was over a year ago when the car was in motion at around 40 mph, I was able to pull over. The first time the dealer replaced a part and told me the problem was fixed. This time around the advisor said there's nothing they can do because they can't replicate the problem. It's very concerning because it can happen at any time anywhere at any speed.

Other Fuel System problem #2

12/22/I was accelerating onto the highway when multiple error messages popped up on the screen related to brakes, emission system, power steering, and others. The car’s accelerator lost power and slowed to a stop on the side of the highway. The interior electronics didn’t lose power, and neither did power steering or power brakes to my knowledge. I restarted the car and the warning lights remained on, however the accelerator appeared to function normally. Honda was unable to diagnose or fix. 3/31/I was pulling out of a parking deck when the engine lost power (no throttle) at the same time that multiple error messages came on to the screen. I coasted into a parking spot (brakes appeared to work) and turned the car off. I turned it back on and all of the lights had turned off except a warning about the brakes and tpms (I think). The engine appeared to work normally, and I immediately drove to the southpoint Honda service center. 4/8/recap from Honda: your car had a couple issues, they're all related. The first thing you're complaining about the stalling condition that is a known issue. There's a software update that fixes that. So I got it in here to do the software update, but then I could not communicate to the vehicle. The can gateway module was unresponsive, which the car will run fine without it. But then, I can't talk to the car. So after testing everything and finding the module to have failed, I replaced the can gateway this morning. Everything's communicating fine and software is updating right now for the module. Then I'm going to update the pgmfi software for the icm system to correct the communication loss within the network that causes the stalling issue. So those two issues will be corrected.

Other Fuel System problem #3

Driving out of parking lot at 15 mph, loss of power, unable to accelerate, message warning on dash stating brake problem. Message states reduced braking issue, see dealer. With a couple of tries while stopped, was able to restart the car. Braking problem message remained on dash. Drove about 6 miles to dealer. Parked the car. Shut off. Restarted in front of service advisor. The brake problem message was now gone. Decided to leave the car at the dealership for diagnosis as I was afraid to drive home. Waiting for call back. Mileage about 14,500 at incident.

Other Fuel System problem #4

Remedy for fuel injection problem(NHTSA 24v-763) is still not available.

Other Fuel System problem #5

I went to dealer and I am affraid to drive vehicle unsafe might expold my anxity is up the roof due to that my Honda should give a loaner or something in that matter . I asked to no avail .

Other Fuel System problem #6

When driving my 2023 Honda Accord hybrid sedan, several warning lights came on, including the brakes and tire pressure. Then the accelerator didn’t work well. I pulled over to the side of the road and restarted the car. A message saying there was a problem with the braking system appeared. It also said braking performance could be reduced.

Other Fuel System problem #7

Parts unavailable from dealer, dealer not willing to fix in meantime.

Other Fuel System problem #8

1. When slowing down my vehicle kicks like it is choking. It is available for inspection upon request. I checked my Honda link app the week of October 21, 2024 to see if my vehicle needed a service and I noticed the recall on my vehicle for the 2023-25 multi-model high-pressure fuel pump stop sale. 2. I learned through the Honda link app that there is a recall. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the recall prior to the week of October 21, 2024. 3. Yes. The problem has been confirmed by a dealer and the corporate office. 4. Honda vehicles have been inspected and a recall has been issued. “due to improper production of the high-pressure fuel pump, cracks can form at the solenoid core component of the fuel pump. As a result, a fuel leak can occur in lower mileage vehicles when the high-pressure fuel pump is in operation. ” safety risk: “if a fuel leak occurs in the presence of an ignition source, the risk of a fire, crash, or injury are increased. ” 5. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to or after any symptoms. The car seemed to choke as I applied the brakes to slow down during the week of October 21, 2024. I noticed the recall on my Honda link app during the week of October 21, 2024. Currently, I am awaiting the remedy. I cannot drive my vehicle because of the safety hazard.

Other Fuel System problem #9

I am a veteran. I contacted Honda customer service to escalate my situation. I have not yet received help from the winston-salem Honda dealer as of 9:00 a. M. On 10/18/24. I have complained to the department of justice's consumer protection division. I have sent documentation. I reached out on facebook. I was last contacted by dallas, even though mike's name is on my last paperwork. This is suspicious. My rubber on my door has been replaced. My seatbelt was missing a bolt. Tires with regular, correct maintenance from the dealer should last 30,000 miles. Because Honda of winston-salem did not follow the schedule, after bringing my car to them many times, I have to replace my four tires at under 22,000 miles. I have lost 30% of my tires' lifespan unnecessarily due to a lack of regular balancing and rotation, despite multiple visits to Honda of winston-salem. My last recall letter arrived over 60 days ago. My seatbelt, cvt transmission, and engine have recalls. My window tint has faded, my door is failing, my brakes have issues, there are electrical issues, and the ceiling is sagging. My Hondalink is incorrect. I asked for help with car features and I paid $3000 up front extended warranty, but they refused to assist. Other Fuel System problem #10

Traveling on the expressway at approximately 70mph the dashboard/instrument panel started lighting up with warnings regarding tires, braking, engine, etc, and the car/power started shutting down, could not accelerate, steering and braking became difficult, fortunately I was able to access an off ramp at which point the car was stopped with multiple cars and semis behind me. The emergency flasher did work which most likely saved us from being rear-ended. We turned the car off and then turned it back on twice and then it started up again.

Other Fuel System problem #11

Twice this has happened to me. Yesterday, I was driving on a local road, around 45 to 50 mph. Suddenly, many warning lights came on (see photos) including that power steering was reduced, electric parking brake system issue, and tpms issue. The car felt heavy to drive, but I still had control. I pulled over and turned off the car. After a few minutes, I turned on the car, and the warnings were gone and it drove normally. The hybrid battery was well-charged, so I don't think this was the problem. The previous time was around 2 months ago. That time I had to turn the car off and on twice before the warnings went away. I had taken the car to the Honda mechanic, but they found nothing wrong.

Other Fuel System problem #12

This happened on 04/16/2024 at roughly 7:16 pm. I bought the new 2023 hybrid Accord ex-l in June 2023 and the car only had 12413 miles. I was driving in slidell, la along n. Military road towards abita spring. I was driving 45 mph with adaptive cruise control. Suddenly there were lots of warning lights on. I don't really remember clearly how many warning lights since I was shocked. But I think that the "check engine", "tire pressure", "road departure", "traction", and "brake" were on. It was like fire work and at the same time, the car was losing power and the power steering was becoming stiff. Luckily there were no cars behind me and I was right by the entrance of a subdivision. I was able to turn into the entrance of the subdivision and the car basically stopped by the stop sign, kind of like dead. I was blocking the road and had to restart to car. But luckily I was able to restart and then there was only one warning messages left, the brake (please see photo). It says " brake system problem, brake performance may be reduced. See your dealer". It was after 7 pm and I didn't think the repair department was open. So I took a photo and slowly drove to abita spring. After parked my car for maybe two hours and I then restarted the car, everything seems ok. No warning lights at all. So I drove back home. Was busy on 04/18 and 19 (Wednesday and Thursday), finally went to the dealer on Friday, 04/19/2024. There was no codes and the dealer cannot do anything even after showing the photo. Was told to pull over to the dealer and they need the code. It's been two weeks and the car seems fine. But if someone drives on highway, ~70 mph, this can be fatal. And Honda needs to address this!.

Other Fuel System problem #13

While driving on highway, dashboard lights for brakes, check engine, and tpms all came on. Unable to accelerate vehicle and pulled over to side of highway. Shut off the vehicle then started it again. Light for brake system stayed on, other lights were off. Was able to reach destination. Upon return, no lights came on and vehicle was able to be driven home.

Other Fuel System problem #14

On December 29th, 2023, the display dashboard was filled with alarms, breaks, alignment, tire pressure, etc. I took it to the dealership, and they ran diagnostics and found nothing wrong. They told me to bring it next time it happens. On Tuesday, March 19th, at 7:15 a. M. I was driving to work in rush hour traffic. My display dashboard was filled with alarms, and my vehicle did not allow me to accelerate. I put on my hazards and attempted to reach the shoulder. I was fortunate to have the assistance of the truck behind me, which realized something went wrong and blocked me so I could get to the shoulder. Once on the shoulder, I took photos of the dashboard, turned the vehicle off, and restarted. I was able to accelerate. I called the dealership and took the car in. They are still unsure of the problem. They think it might be a "control module. " the part is on backorder so that the potential fix will take a week to several months. The dealership wants me to pick up the vehicle and use it until the part comes in. I will not. They do not have a loaner. I am keeping it with them until the part comes in. I will also be hounding them to provide me with a loaner until they can do so. I refuse to drive a vehicle that could stop working at any moment. I will not be a danger to myself, my family, or others.

Other Fuel System problem #15

Report the problem many time to three different Honda dealerships . February 27 2024 at 9:58 am the did not stop, and three different lights coming on in the same time( the Honda dealership change part call internal electric wave(radar) it fixes the auto pilot but still some lights pops up even I am not using the auto pilot and also sometimes while using the auto pilot the breaking by it self even the road clear and clean also the change the emission sensor and also the change infotainment unit please for safety reasons is there any way for Honda corporation to buy this car back thank you very much and have a great day.

Other Fuel System problem #16

I purchased a new 2023 Honda Accord from woodland hills Honda on 1/20/24. On 1/23/24, I pull into my garage after driving home from work and turn off the car. I get out to an overwhelming smell of gasoline. I inspect the car for visible leaks, which I don’t see, but the gasoline fumes kept growing and spreading throughout my garage. Concerned for my safety, I call the fire department. They show up and inspect the car and find no visible leaks either but advise that I do not keep the vehicle in the garage overnight due to the growing fumes and to get the car towed to the dealer, as they do not want to turn the ignition on either for risk of fire. I call Honda roadside assist and they towed the car to the dealership. The next morning, I get a text message from a Honda service rep at 7:30am initiating the service. After 3 hours of waiting and not getting an update, I text the same number asking what the status of the car is and whether they have identified the cause of the gasoline fumes coming from the hood. The rep texts back saying he will call me. When he calls, the first thing he says is that they identified the issue and that “it’s not a big deal, the car wasn’t going to catch on fire. ” no concern for my safety or what I had gone through, but rather a diminishing of the issue. He says it has something to do with a pipe that is supposed to distribute the fuel to the engine and other components, but the pipe is damaged and gasoline was getting backed up in the engine, causing the fumes. I don't know whether the problem has been reproduced/confirmed by the dealer apart from my verbal conversation with the service rep. I have asked for documentation for the diagnosis of the issue, a repair order, and report regarding long-term damage to the car 3 times and the service rep has dodged my questions all 3 times. There were no warning lights/messages prior to the issue and no one else has inspected the vehicle. I am worried they will hand me back an unsafe car.

Other Fuel System problem #17

On 1/21 at about 12:20pm, the gas pedal on my 2023 Honda Accord hybrid stopped responding mid-drive with no warning while going uphill at 25mph. Had to stop in the road, put the car in park, then put it back in gear and the pedal worked again. After the pedal cut out, multiple alerts cycled on the dash, but only the gas pedal stopped working. This is the 3rd such incident since buying the car new on Apr (1) June 25 going downhill at roughly 30mph on a neighborhood road. I shut off the car and restarted, and the pedal worked again. (2) Nov 16 on the freeway going 60-65mph. Pulled over, shut off, restarted, and the pedal worked again. I brought the car to my dealer each time. They found “loss of communication codes” but could not replicate the issue. They still have my car as of now and told me via text that "your Accord is communicating codes that we do not have a repair for yet. " unfortunately, they have closed my case without making repairs because they "have not found any issues in the system". This puts me and any drivers around me in danger, especially on the freeway.

Other Fuel System problem #18

On 1/21/2024, the car’s accelerator stopped responding and the car slowed to a stop. This happened twice previously on 6/25/2023, and again on 11/16/2023. Each time, the Honda dealer found “loss of communication codes,” and I was told via text on 1/25/2024 that “your Accord is communicating codes that we don’t have a repair for yet. ” I filed a claim with american Honda on 1/31/2024 (case #13919840), and was told over the phone that nothing could be done to resolve the issue. Bernardi Honda gave me the vehicle back without any repairs. I still have the vehicle but I don’t drive it out of concern for my family’s safety.

Other Fuel System problem #19

My wife was driving 55 mph taking our kids to school when the check engine light on the car came on and a message appeared on the dash saying that there was a power emission problem and to see dealer and that power may be reduced. The vehicle had very poor acceleration and she was only able to drive 30-40 mph on a busy 55 mph roadway. The vehicle was taken to zeigler Honda of kalamazoo. A service technician looked at the car, and told her that they could not find anything wrong with it. The vehicle drove fine home with no problems. One week later while driving on I-94, my wife was driving between 70 and 75 mph when the check engine light came on again, along with the message that there was a power emission problem and to see dealer. The message also stated that the power of the vehicle may be reduced. The vehicle again, had very poor acceleration. She was only able to drive 15 to 20 mph. Fortunately, she was able to get off the highway quickly, and drive the vehicle home. The vehicle had very poor acceleration and it took approximately 1. 5 miles to get up to 40 mph in the vehicle with the accelerator pushed all the way to the floor. The dealer was contacted, and they advised they looked at it last time, and there was nothing that they could do. They advised they will create a service appointment to document the problem. I am in the process of waiting for the service department to call me back. I plan on taking the vehicle back to the dealership to have it inspected again, and to have this incident documented. This is a huge safety issue that needs to be addressed.

Other Fuel System problem #20

On 11/16/2023, my vehicle’s gas pedal and acceleration system completely stopped working mid-drive on an interstate highway without warning. The car coasted to a stop. After shutting off the car and restarting, the gas pedal worked again. This was the second time this occurred (the first was on 6/25/2023). I brought the car to my dealer, bernardi Honda in natick, as I had done before. They found “loss of communication codes,” and “updated the ecu management system” but since they couldn’t replicate the issue they didn’t know if that would resolve the issue. It did not. They gave me the car back. This would happen a third time on 1/21/2024 and I submitted a report about that, too. I believe my car should be included in recall campaign number 23v588000.

Other Fuel System problem #21

There has been a recall on my vehicle for almost two years. About every two or three months I get another notification that I need to bring it in to be repaired. No matter which dealership I take it to there are no parts available nor have there been for 18 months. I am told that I will need to wait with no timeline of when the vehicle will be repaired. Nhtsa recall number 24v-763 recall date 10/14/2023.

Other Fuel System problem #22

While driving at speeds between 3-70 mph, the vehicle will intermittently display multiple warning lamps along with having an immediate loss of motive power (go into limp mode). When this occurs, the car must be coasted over to the side of the road & restarted typically twice to clear all of the dash alerts. Having a car go into limp mode while driving on city streets, highways or interstates puts our family in danger as well as the safety of others on the road near us. This issue has reproduced itself over a dozen times for our family & the service department has not been able to reproduce/confirm when brought in for repair. The service team on the 1st service date found multiple codes for loss of communications. They cleared the codes, found no permanent codes, performed a hard reset on the system & sent the car home. The 2nd service call again showed multiple codes for loss of communications. They were not able to reproduce the issue & sent the car home. The 3rd service call displayed the same codes as before. They updated the icm software & sent the car home. The 4th service call displayed the same codes. The service team attempted to reproduce the issue by driving the vehicle for ~250 miles unsuccessfully & wanted to send the car home. We disagreed & they mentioned we should open a case with Honda which we did. Several days later Honda & the service team replaced the integrated control unit. It will take much time & many miles before we can be certain the icm replacement did or did not resolve the issue. The issue 1st occurred near 6,200 in mileage and roughly 4 months after purchase. The car now has over 27,000 miles. As far as warning lamps during an event, multiple pop up that are images/icons as well as text of issues you can scroll through. Battery lamp, vehicle stability assist reduced traction and handling, brake system problem brake performance may be reduced, electric power steering system problem steering assist reduced, etc.

Other Fuel System problem #23

When driving the car at 45 mph, warning lights came on for: (1)vehicle stability system problem. Reduced traction and handling. See your dealer. (2)electric power steering system problem. Steering assist reduced. See your dealer. (3)hill start assist problem. Vehicle my role upon brake release. See your dealer. (4)adaptive cruise control system problem. See your dealer. (5)brake system problem. Brake performance may be reduced. See your dealer. While these messages flashed, the car lost ability to accelerate, steer very well, and brake very well. The car came to a stop after it slowed and I slammed on the brakes as hard as I could. I placed in in park, turned it off, and then turned it back on. It drove normally for a few minutes and then another warning light came on for a few seconds. It disappeared and the car drove normally. The dealer said a code showed up but they couldn't replicate the issue. They ended up replacing the battery because they didn't want to give it back to me without a fix. About 4 weeks later, we were stopped on the highway and in park waiting for over an hour. As we sat there, the warning light came on that said, "electric parking brake system problem. Parking brake not available. See your dealer. " the dealer kept the car for 2 weeks, couldn't replicate the problem, and said there were no codes. They offered no fix. 2 weeks after that, the car flashed up a warning light while driving 5 mph in a parking lot. The warning light said that the "lane assist" was not operational and that I should contact the dealer. I couldn't take a pic of it because it only flashed up for 5-10 seconds. I'm taking the car in later today.

Other Fuel System problem #24

Regenerative braking system remains applied/engaged/enabled when accelerating.

Other Fuel System problem #25

On 6/25/2023, my vehicle’s gas pedal and acceleration system completely stopped working mid-drive without warning. The car coasted to a stop. After shutting off the car and restarting, the gas pedal worked again. I brought the car to my dealer, bernardi Honda in natick. They found “loss of communication codes,” but since they couldn’t replicate the issue, no repairs were made and I was given the car back.
