This vehicle is on its 3rd set of injectors within a year. It is a known problem that Honda knows they keep replacing them but they keep going out causing a misfire.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #2

Yesterday, January 30, 2026 as I was driving (approximately 30mph) my car seized, came to a stop, dashboard lit up with multitude of words/symbols. After approximately 15 seconds I was able to use the gas pedal and the car drove. My safety was at risk, this sudden stop jolted me hard. If there was another vehicle behind me I would have been hit. The warning messages were so quick and cleared away with seconds that I cannot recall. I drove to my local dealer and the battery cables were checked and ok. I scheduled an appt for Monday Feb. 2nd as this was Friday. On January 21st this local dealer replaced my battery, after months of "computer glitches" that were never resolved with two dealers and 4 dead batteries.

Unknown I was not advised or informed of any recall.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #4

Within 48 hours of taking possession, the vehicle suffered a blown head gasket, a catastrophic mechanical failure that constitutes a pre-existing latent defect—a serious condition that existed prior to the sale but was not disclosed to me. This defect renders the vehicle unsafe, inoperable, and unfit for its intended use. Claims that I did not purchase the optional 2-day cooling-off period or that the vehicle is covered under a manufacturer warranty are legally irrelevant. Under California civil code §§ 1791. 1 & 1792 (implied warranty of merchantability), a dealer is obligated to sell a vehicle that: 1. Is safe and operable at the time of sale 2. Is fit for ordinary driving purposes 3. Does not contain major latent defects that make the vehicle unsafe, inoperable, or unusable immediately after purchase the presence of a pre-existing latent defect is a direct violation of these provisions. The manufacturer warranty does not excuse the sale of a vehicle with a defect that existed at the time of purchase. I am therefore demanding, without delay: 1. Immediate rescission of the sales contract by raceway Nissan 2. Full refund of all funds paid, including deposits and trade-in credits 3. Coordination with valley strong credit union to fully rewind the auto loan, including principal, interest, fees, and any other charges 4. Confirmation that I will have no financial obligations related to this purchase once the rescission is completed.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #5

Wiring harness failed randomly at 42,000 with no damage to the harness, engine, or vehicle itself. Without the wiring harness the engine does not run properly and shakes violently, causing the car to lose power. This happened with no prior warnings, problems, or damage. Additionally the steering rack seems “loose” and changes direction quite quickly when hitting a pothole or uneven roads even at lower speeds. I have to make sure I constantly have a firm grip on the wheel so no sudden unexpected direction changes occur due to imperfections in the road.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #6

My car started shaking like it didn’t want to go. My engine light came on. Then it showed road departure mitigation system problem, collision mitigation system problem, adaptive. Those control problem, and emissions system problem then says engine is not functioning properly.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #7

I applied the brakes and pulled up to a light and as soon as my car came to a complete stop all of the lights just started going off. The light turned green and I couldn’t accelerate anymore and almost got rear ended. I tried turning the car off but it didn’t turn off. Instead, it just made a clicking sound and I was able to accelerate and pull into a parking lot and I was able to turn it off and I turned it back on and it the brake system light stayed on. I drove to work and when I got to work I turned it off and turned it back on and the car is fine.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #8

Vehicle shakes roughly and vibrations on this 2024 Honda Accord hybrid when transitioning from electric to gas motor at idle. This occurs sporadically but generally when idling in traffic or a drive thru etc. The electric motor is working in this idle stage, but when the heater or ac is on and you are idling for a period of time, it will kick on the gas motor causing shaking of the vehicle. This occurs mainly when the gas motor is kicking on from idle and sometimes when it shuts itself back off again. This problem was reported to selling dealer smail Honda at a service appointment on 6/9/25. Tech did not find the problem and left these notes: "scanned computer for faults and none present. Vehicle operating as designed. " in my opinion, the vehicle is not operating as designed and this could be a possible safety issue so I'm filing this incident with NHTSA.

The contact owns a 2024 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving 25-35 mph, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle also stalled while being started. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 24v763000 (fuel system, gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact called other local dealers: spreen Honda loma linda (25050 redlands blvd, loma linda, CA 92354), capital city Honda (3630 fulton Ave, sacramento, CA 95821: and walnut creek Honda service (1707 n. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The manufacturer opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #11

On 11/11/2024 while at an intersection with a redlight, I was the first car in the "merge to the right" short lane, stopped and waiting on right lane traffic on the road that intersected to clear. When it was safe to go, I moved my foot to the accelerator and nothing happened. I realized my vehicle had lost power / "died;" that all dashboard lights were out. I quickly put my vehicle gear in "park" position and restarted. It did restart but immediately a red warning light began flashing saying "brake system failure" and "take vehicle to dealer. " I was terrified as I proceeded in the right lane of traffic since I had vehicles behind me as well as in front of me and I had to cross an intersection with traffic merging from an interstate highway. There was not a safe place to go; all businesses along this stretch had no entry except on their back side. I had to proceed across several major intersections before I could get to a safe place. Meanwhile, warning lights continued and included more than brake system failure. One was showing a warning diagram about changing lanes of traffic which I had to do. Obviously, brakes worked because I was able to stop when needed but I was afraid the brakes would not work which could have been deadly for myself and others. Once I was stopped and in a safe place, I called Honda roadside assistance and my car was towed to the nearest Honda dealership. As of this writing (six days from incident), Honda dealership is still investigating; they have not given me a cause or solution. They are providing me with a loaner car. There is no recall on 2024 Honda hybrid touring although there are multiple posts online with people saying they had same thing happen with this model vehicle.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #12

This is a hybrid vehicle with only 1100 miles on it. The engine start to stutter and violently shake when the gas engine turns on at low speed or idle. The car will have limited power during this time and the acceleration will be jerky. This is a safety concerns since this behavior can kick in randomly, because the car computer decides when the gas engine kicks in, which is unpredictable. I have done some research online with Honda owners and this issue is fairly common for new (2024 and 2025) Honda hybrid vehicles such as the crv or Accord. Almost all people reporting this issue have their cars less than 10k miles. Online report seems to indicate that the problem is related to bad fuel injector. Some reported that dealers unable or refuse to perform repair due to unavailable parts. I will have an inspection from a local Honda dealer later this week. I currently do not have warning lights on at the moment. But other owners have mentioned check engine and/or check transmission warning lights as this issue progresses.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #13

The contact owned a 2024 Honda Accord. The contact stated while at a complete stop at a four-way stop, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact stated that the vehicle jerked. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact allowed the vehicle to roll into the residential driveway. The contact turned the vehicle off. The contact’s son noticed the fire coming from under the hood and yelled for the contact to exit the vehicle. The fire department was called and extinguished the fire. The vehicle was towed to a local tow yard. The vehicle was condemned as a total loss. The contact stated that the vehicle was purchased six months before the failure. In addition, the contact received a recall notification, NHTSA campaign number: 24v763000 (fuel system, gasoline), which was received after the failure had occurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case. The failure mileage was approximately 4,200.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #14

I was driving on city roads when vehicle lost power going up a slight hill and I was forced to pull over to the side of the road. I received tdms failure first then multiple failures. Restarted and was able restart but received the following warnings: 1. Brake system failure, 2. Park brake failure, 3. Collision failure 4. Electric power steering failure, 5. Tpms failure, 6. Low speed braking failure, 7. Road departure failure 8. Adaptive cruise control failure, 9. Hill start failure. Restarted again was able to drive the vehicle home but received the above warnings. Restarted again and received a brake system warning. After I got home, I restarted again and all the warnings cleared. This was a very serious error. If I was driving on the turnpike when power failed, my only recourse would be to try to pull over, if possible, stop the vehicle and restart. This would be a life-threatening situation. Checked tires front tires were 36# rear tires 33#. So, no tire issue to trigger the tdms warning. The auto technician did some checks but did not see any codes. He also looked at the Honda forum for technicians and saw some of the same issues, but they didn’t provide a solution. I mentioned what I read in the Accord forum about the Honda dealer this person went do couldn’t find codes but knew right away that it was the icm ignition control module. The technician said someone drove it today and will drive it tomorrow. He will also call Honda engineers in California for assistance. 6/11/2024 I was informed that the issue has been confirmed to be the icm module, which is out of stock now. 6/27/24 I received a call from dealer service advisor that the rental was approved by Honda, but also the part was received and the car will be ready when I pick it up. Car was out of commission due to parts availability issues for 18 days.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #15

We purchased a Honda Accord ( VIN and details below) , and after few weeks ( within 380 miles of driving, the car stopped in the middle of the road with a whole bunch of dtc's lighting up. The dtc's were indicating brake system malfunction, internal temperature high, lkas malfunction etc. Had to tow the car to dealership.

Engine And Engine Cooling problem #16

Today on 24 December 2024, I was driving my 3 month newly bought Honda Accord sport hybrid VIN 1hgcy2f55ra003151 from tulsa oklahoma to dallas texas when the car broke down suddenly in the middle of highway. It reported sudden power train system and all advanced feature failures and asked me to halt immediately or safely and started reducing the speed in the middle of driving at 65 miles hour. I had to park urgently on shoulder on I 75 s and it was very risky considering high speed traffic flowing. I think it was a great safety risk.
