Was driving 35mph speed limit in my town of nashville nc, lost acceleration with cars clearly behind me, car stalled was enough speed to turn into a parking area and car will not re start due to high voltage battery going out on me while driving. Car has 29,504 miles this battery should be replaced under warranty but service center is blaming me for it so they won’t honor warranty??? 5100 in repair bill they want me to pay out of pocket.
This is an addendum to complaint number 11700647, and attaches the latest service and repair record of 10/10/25.
Purchased new. Delivery date August 13, 2024 I've experienced an ongoing issue with the electronics since owning car. First issue was ecm failed. Currently having problems with the lane keeping assist (lkas). The car is alerting me that I'm not staying within my lane which isn't correct, the car then attempts to correct. The car attempts to correct, shows a lane departure warning but won't give any audible alerts as previous. During the time car alerts of road departure it clearly shows the car diagram within the road diagram. I have pictures taken showing such.
Purchased new delivery date: August 13, 2024 this is an ongoing issue, car indicates radar needs cleaning. Each time I pull off road to check radar no such cleaning is needed, it's clean. Once the car indicates that the radar needs cleaning I loose multiple functions, cruise control, lane assist etc. Attached picture.
The instrument panel display combined with the front sensor camera failed. This risked my live as well as others lives on the road due to the ill ability to predict when it will fail as well as the difficulty to control the sporadic behavior. The lane keep assist system would also overcorrect and have very strong and hard to control corrections with the wheel. The instrument panel would also turn off mid drive and I would not be able to see my speedometer. It has been seen by multiple diffferent Honda service centers and no one can figure out the issue. Camera issues have been recalled on previous models.
Lane assist issues. During the time inwhiche I've had the Honda lane assist on I've experienced the car wanting to abruptly change direction, system acted as if it was trying to avoid a collision or navigate a non existing turn object in path. I'm also experiencing issues with the tsr system - Honda traffic sign recognition (tsr). This system will show a stop sign, yield sign when there isn't any sign of any type around. I'm also experiencing time when it's indicates I'm traveling in a wrong way direction as a sign in instrument panel will appear showing a red sign with a black mark across which indicates a do not enter. This could cause an accident if happening to a driver in a unfamiliar area as they might come to an ubrupt stop thinking their going in a wrong direction or going to run a stop sign. Note: I keep my car extremely clean, taking care to clean windshield a area where radar is placed on front grill.
Purchased my car brand new. Within 1. 5 years I've had to have 2 steering racks replaced and another component replaced within the steering column. Currently my lane keeping assist problem is on and I'm waiting to get appt confirmation from the service dept manager. My infotainment center went black and quit working and had to be replaced a little over a year after purchasing the car. The paint began peeling off my front bumper within 6 months of purchasing the car. I'm currently dealing with the Honda I purchased from to try to come to a resolution of this issue since I don't want my brand new car to have a bumper repainted and possibly not match and have it show up on a carfax report. Also have what the dealership calls "fisheyes" under the clear coat of the factory paint. Approx 20-25 spots on my entire car. The dealership said they could "buff" the places but shouldnt have left the factory in that condition. The body shop that Honda sent me too said once they started buffing on the "fisheyes" that they couldn't guarantee that the buffing of the spots would correct the issue or if they would need to repaint which I'm not ok with since it is a brand new car and paint might not even match the rest of the car. Also', I should add that all the maintenance and repairs have been completed at the dealership where I purchased my car brand new.
We purchased a Honda Accord ( VIN and details below) , and after few weeks ( within 380 miles of driving, the car stopped in the middle of the road with a whole bunch of dtc's lighting up. The dtc's were indicating brake system malfunction, internal temperature high, lkas malfunction etc. Had to tow the car to dealership.
Driving at highway speed with cruise control active, cruise turns off and car immediately feels like manual steering and accelerator harder to push. Warning lights displayed adaptive cruise, lane departure and brake system, see dealer. Exited the highway and restarted the car. Lights went off. Taking to dealer via appointment. Dealer says they can't determine whether or not there could be danger of driving the vehicle and can't get the car in for more than a week, leaving me without transportation should something go wrong.
The steering rack has a defect. It has been replaced and the same problem is still ongoing. The gearbox has also been replaced but the problem is ongoing. The car makes loud noise when driving, turning the steering wheel, braking. I do not feel safe driving this car. I have had it for 1 year and it’s already been in service over 20 times. I’ve been having issues with this, 2 weeks after I purchased the vehicle. The lane assist is supposed to keep the steering wheel straight, and it does not, tue car merges to the right.
