This is about the 5th time this has happened to the car. All warning lights appeared spontaneously while driving. The lights would turn off if the car was turned off for a long period of time or is we disconnected battery for a long period of time. We have tried to research the problem and no one seems to know what the cause or permanent fix is.

It is uncertain which specific system/systems have failed/malfunctioned at this point. Despite frequent and consistent communication with Honda, no real attempt has been made to uncover the cause of this issue, and no solution has been provided. The vehicle has been, and is, available for inspection upon request. This is the 7th occurrence since the first event on 21 April 2025. This occurred on the interstate. During this event, the vehicle rapidly decelerated from 70 mph to 60 mph without the ability of the driver to intervene or take back control of the vehicle. This led to a very near miss as traffic was rapidly approaching the rear of my vehicle. At the time of the incident (6:21 pm), I was in the right lane. Traffic was heavy. The weather was overcast and dry in tire path. Cmbs was off. Acc was off. Problem has not yet been reproduced but dealer has verbally indicated that they get frequent complaints about the system. This includes one employee who has experienced this on his personal vehicle. Many dtcs have been recovered from the vehicle’s log. Manufacturer: yes, vehicle has spent 30 days, to date, in custody of Honda police: not yet. Will do immediately if advised insurance representatives: not yet. Will do immediately if advised others: no. If car is idling for over 1 minute, all lights on dash come on. When all lights on, car wont wont go over mph, car will randomly sputter in highway when going over 1rpm and will stall randomly. Reported on reddit by multiple people and when I went in to get it diagnosed it was the fuel injector issue.

• head gasket • none of the safety features work when there is a head gasket issue. Power steering is reduced as well as break performance • confirmed by Honda dealership with a boroscope • Honda • no warning, Honda at first thought it would be fixed by fixing the factory recalls. Light went away prior to taking it in and then looked in to it 2 weeks later and diagnosed head gasket failure.
- component/system failure/malfunction: adas. Specifically, cmbs and/or acc. - my car has repeatedly experienced unexpected braking events, rapidly bringing me to nearly a complete stop in the highway. During this time, I have no ability to control the speed of my vehicle. This has been occurring during my ~70 mile commute on I-675, I-75, and I-275. - despite having the car on multiple occasions and for over a week collectively, the issue has not been replicated by the dealer. - the vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others to date. The Honda dealer has not initiated any further inspection. - during these failures, the car has (often) been braking without due reason or any alert to the driver. No system malfunction was found (either shown to driver or in computer log, as verified by dealer). Please review attached document for further details regarding the incident(s). This copy has been presented to Honda and the ohio attorney general.

Every light on my dashboard came on at once. I took it to a Honda dealership for a diagnostic check and they said it was my turbo but every light is still on.
While driving on the interstate, suddenly got 6 different ‘warning’ messages on the dashboard. Most of them involved the brakes. Emergency brake malfunction, brake hold malfunction, forward collision malfunction, adaptive cruise control malfunction, brake system malfunction (use of brakes may be reduced), and road departure mitigation malfunction.
All warning lights have turned on my dash. Ive done research and this is happening a lot of people that own 2018-2020 Honda Accord 1. 5l.
The car is braking even when there is no obstacle or vehicle ahead. I have not driven at higher speed but I fear that if that happens, it can cause incident and injury.
All of sudden, no incident, no accident, a lot of things were disabled such as adaptive cruise control , forward collision warning , lane departure warning and more while I was out of town (long range highway travel). When I went to Honda dealership, they blamed a few things and fixed them (expensive), then they said that the front camera needed a calibration. It was expensive. After that aiming correction, everything works fine. The camera was not broken. It just needed recalibration, and it costed about a thousand dollars. I would say it was caused by the poor design, which is Honda's fault. I googled this issue and found a lot of Honda owners had same issued and charged 1k ~2k for it. I will report it separately, but my Honda odyssey has the exactly same issue now. I have 2 Honda cars, and both of them have the same issue. I strongly suggest that Honda should recall their front camera and they should reimburse the expense we already paid for it.
All dash lights are on and the Honda dealership told me I have a blown head gasket, need a turbo replacement & fuel pump in which I wasn’t able to drive the car for 7 months at 112,276 miles. . This seems like a known issue for this make and model vehicle after 100,000 miles.
I recently took my car to the dealer because I have multiple messages on my dashboard saying please see dealer dealing with my brake system, electric power steering, vehicle ability assist, collision mitigation system problem, etc the dealers don’t know what’s going on with it. I recently had service done on it because of the recall with the fuel pump and even before that those messages were showing up.
I feel like my car should be under recall it’s so many other who experiencing the same thing. All of my lights are on, on the dash. Check engine light down to my cruise control not working. As I drive it’s stalling and jerking. I went to the dealership to have my spark plugs and my fuel injectors replace and it started back doing the same thing. Spent thousands just to be going through the same exact thing.
I was driving on a highway when the engine light came on and the car immediately started slowing down even though I was pressing the gas pedal. It flashed there was a failure of the brake system, collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation system, hill start assist system, and adaptive cruise control system. The check battery light also came on. The car decelerated on its own with brakes engaged. I had to choice but to immediately pull over and luckily was able to steer to an off ramp and into a parking lot.

Adaptive cruise control - collision mitigation - road departure mitigation - vehicle stability assist - hill start assist - electric parking brake - tire pressure monitoring.
Getting a dash warning that all mitigation systems are not working and to see my dealership.
Car did not slow down adaptively. Tried to hit the brakes hard and ended up needing to use the emergency brakes.
My blinker won't appear on the dash. My trunk won't open. My back up camera won't come on at all. Can't adjust my exterior lights, stuck on the dimmest setting and can't change. Lights will also flicker and I have no control over it. My radio screen told me to enter a code but wouldn't allow me to. My break system light was on. There is warning reading adaptive cruise control see dealer, automatic emergency braking see dealer, lane departure warning see dealer. Doors locked and unlocked while driving. Air condition wasn't blowing the temperature it said, and acting as it was on low when it was on the highest setting. It is available for inspection upon request. I brought my car into a Honda dealership today. My car had to stay overnight because they were unable to address the problem. There were no prior problems or warnings beforehand. All these problems first appeared when I started my car for the first time on November 14, 2024. These put myself and others at risk because the doors locked and unlocked which could have caused us to get trapped in. The lights not working put me at risk at night because I could not see the road that good.
All errors coming on when gas pushed; I do have pics of the dashboard, and the scanner reports acc - "giving out" when gas is attempted use: lane assist, tire callibration, steering, brakes, and: car scanned show fuel sys 1 fuel sys2 stft b1 ltft b1 acc pedal d sensor calibration brake pad temp too high turbo charger under.

Everyday the vehicles struggles to pick up on speed and stalls out. I am often holding up traffic because I’m driving to slow. I have to very very very slowly accelerate so that the car doesn’t stall. When the trying to accelerate it often skips and jerks while driving. I often wonder if this will affect me while driving on the interstate. I fear that a bad accident is on the horizon with these issues. Could you please help. I’ve tried multiple times since last December to get the car fixed and Honda refuses to fix my vehicle even though I received a letter in the mail saying more repair parts are available.
During normal driving - clear weather conditions - the car will suddenly activate the forward collision braking. It will literally slam on the brakes and decrease the speed by 10-15 mph. This happened as I was going down the drive of our neighborhood, I was at 45 mph with no one in front of me or behind me (thankfully) and the car applied the brakes and activated the front collision warning. There is also an intermittent issue with my seatbelt. Specifically the drivers seat belt. I was witness to someone driving my car - he buckled his seat belt and it unlatched. He then buckled it again thinking he didn’t do it right - but it wouldn’t latch. This has happened to me before as well - but usually after the third try of buckling the seat belt it will work and so I thought nothing of it. Additionally, the windshield wipers do not go back to their original position after being in use.
The system failing and had problems. Had to take to Honda dealer. They had to replace the system camera.
Misfire in cylinder causes blown head gasket.
After fuel pump failed to open, top of this year my vehicle began to stall. I had the recall issue fixed 5/31/2024 by Honda dealer staten island. Just a couple days ago my vehicle started stalling again.
This is the second time in a year and a half, fuel injectors went bad an were replaced and im assuming this time is same issue. The car had a little rough idle . The car throws a check engine light and all other lights on dash come on and vehicle went into a sort of limp mode. . Car would not excellerate and all safety items will not work… the injectors went bad at 59000 miles and after being changed at dealer it looks like they are bad again at 78000 miles. . This car is dangerous because of these issues. . I am calling dealer on Monday.
Unintended activation of cmbs braking and warning system causing rapid vehicle deceleration. Deactivation of active cruise control due to cmbs errors.
Collision mitigation automatically engaged causing vehicle to brake when unnecessary. Once after excelling from a redlight and again when entering a highway on ramp. After occurring twice in a 6 month period it's now become permanently disabled with dash warnings. Braking system error. Collision mitigation breaking system error. Tpms error.
