Brakes Failed problems of the 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid

1 Brakes Failed problem

Failure Date: 01/02/2014

At any time when first operating vehicle when temperatures are below freezing, brakes fail to function. Must wait for brakes/brake fluid to warm before they function correctly. Stopping impossible before system warms. I am in georgia, so I would hate to have this vehicle in new york.

2 Brakes Failed problem

Failure Date: 12/12/2005

The contact owns a 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving out of a parking space the brakes failed. She was able to stop the vehicle, drive to her residence without incident. She contacted the manufacturer who stated that she should let the vehicle warm up first and engage the brakes before driving to make sure that they are functioning properly. The failure was more prominent in cold weather. The dealer stated that the failure was caused by the brake canister and it needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 20,000. The current mileage was 118,000.
