I purchased my vehicle in March 25th 2024 a message on my dashboard saying engine is too hot so in August of this year I took it to the shop for a diagnosis test and they told me that the car didn’t run hot when they drove it so again in October 10th I was driving home and my car lost power on the freeway so I pulled over and then all my lights on the dashboard came on so I took it to the shop on October 13th and they told me that my head gasket was faulty and my coolant system was faulty. To me a major problem should have not happened within a years time and I had my maintenance done on my car like I should have.

Honda Accord Hybrid 2018 with 7439 miles. I was driving on the highway back home from work . Suddenly car starts to flush messages that all car systems fails and it needs to be towed to dealership immediately. Car stopped to response to controls including acceleration and starts to slows down from 70 mph to 25 mph. At that time I realized that the only option would be to pull over on the shoulder. I did it to be able to stay away from traffic and call emergency service. After approximately 75 minutes I was towed away to nearby dealership (manchester Honda, CT). As of this morning I don't have any information from them. I was totally shocked on car behavior and think this is not acceptable for car with 7439 miles and only 7 month old.
While driving on highway all warning lights came on (in the dashboard with an exclamation point) and the car speed dropped to less than 40 m/hr.

Sometimes the car starts when I use the push to start button most times it doesn't. I have a to carry a portable battery so I won't get stuck at whatever destination I arrive. I had the battery checked. Nothing is wrong with battery.
Hello, on my way to grocery store I realized that my car wasn't rolling smoothly. Then I look on my dashboard and found the steering light and battery light popped up then after half block all other light lite up and the worst part was the steering wheel movement was harder I would say it was next to steer so I used emergency light and pulled the car on the side of the road and turned off the engine. After 10-15 minutes I was able to drive and safely reached a garage there the technician after inspection told me that the parts seems to be fine and car needs a software update . Which can only be done by a dealer.

Takata recall the airbag warning light intermittently comes on and stays on when the car is started. It continues to remain illuminated somedays and then not at all on others. However, our concern is that the airbags will deploy in an accident and that the metal chards they are known to explode is worse than no airbag! the intermittent nature of the problem means it can't be diagnosed and repaired. Also, the Accord Hybrid model is not included in the takata recall, despite the fact that it apparently has the very same takata airbag system. . Nor was it a part of the ima lawsuit that was the same system that the civic has a lawsuit over. Just because of the low number of this model being sold, owners shouldn't be ignored and not served as the mass number of other model owners, who didn't buy the discontinued problem model that only a small number of us got stuck with. Like at 91,000 I need a ima battery replacement just as I knew there was problems a long time before the dash icon illuminated, but Honda won't acknowledge until then. Convenient to mask battery problems with a software update which serves the purpose to pretty much just delay and suppress the issue until the 10 yr/100,000m warranty is over. It is known to make mileage far worse but hey-draws out being able to prove its the battery! works for them-( Honda) whats worse is when you bought the junk model for over the kbb value, have paid in full and only bought 2yrs ago- so that now you need a car all over again and cant sell this when it gets poor gas mileage and needs 4000 in repairs. Honda should focus on us before their advertising random financial gifts of awards to anyone! try giving it back to those who gave you that money first. . .
While driving my Honda accord 2015 on interstate 75 in the left lane, the dashboard displayed a warning that there was a power system failure, the engine light came on. The vehicle immediately lost all power. The dashboard display was still lit and the radio continued to play. There was no resistance with the gas pedal and the car could only coast. I checked traffic and changed lanes to the far right emergency pull off. I turned off the car and then restarted it and the power system failure warning was gone but then a brake system warning came on. The car did travel foward with gas pedal and the brake seemed to work so I stayed in emergency lane and proceeded to closet exit off i75. I went to auto zone but they could not assist me. When the car was restarted all the warnings were clear. I took it the a Honda dealer and ask for a diagnostic. Honda service person said that if I was driving with both feet (one on gas and one on brake) that loss of power. I was not driving with both feet, so I asked him to run a diagnostics so I felt safe enough to drive home. The diagnostics revealed that the computer needed an update that was performed by service. I read the paperwork on the diagnositcs and there was a statement that described my incident completely with sudden loss of power. My car is not on a recall list. Honda seemed to know exactly what to fix, but I was never notified that my car needed an update resulting in power system failure. Why was this information not communicated to the owners of these cars? for a brand new car to be able to display all kinds of information (ie, oil life, range of miles, time for service) why can not the car display that its computer needs an update and to take in for service? there was no injury thankfully, but easily this could have happen, I was just lucky that I was able to coast over to the emergency lane and was not going uphill.
I was commuting to work, driving on a major, high-traffic highway in the high-occupancy vehicle lane, when warning lights came on, saying there was a power system problem, a brake system problem, and some problem with elevated temperature that meant power was being reduced. I put on my flasher, hoping to make my way across three lanes of heavy traffic to pull off on the right shoulder. But I had no power at all. Luckily, there was a shoulder to the left where I could pull off. (despite the warning, the brakes seemed okay. ) this was an extremely dangerous situation, and it was pure luck that no one was injured or even killed. The car is only 4 months old. I had it towed to the dealer. They told me this was "a common problem" with the Accord Hybrid and that Honda had issued a software fix that should solve this problem. If this is true, there needs to be a recall so owners will become aware of this problem and can get it fixed rather than waiting until power failures and accidents occur.
I was driving on highway at approx 75mph when got message power failed, overheating and breaks failed. Accelerator / gas pedal stopped working. Could have been big accident if vehicle from behind hit the car.
