While driving at highway speed, the sunroof exploded. No object struck the glass to cause the damage. There was very little glass inside the vehicle and the explosion appears to have been outward.

I purchased a new 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid on June 30, 2018 from Honda of kirkland for my daughter. On Monday, February 25, 2019, when she was driving back from class on a road at 35 mph, the collision mitigation system brake warning flashed then braked immediately, stopping the car in traffic. No obstacles or cars were in front of her. Fortunately, the cars behind her were far enough away that they were able to stop. In addition, she tried to get out of the way of traffic by pressing the accelerator, but the car would not respond for several moments after the automatic braking occurred. She also told me that the brake warning had been coming on often when nothing was in front of her. In addition, the lane departure feature has been malfunctioning, trying to pull her to the left lane into oncoming traffic when driving on curving roads. The car is currently at the Honda dealership, but the only thing they found was "a little dirt" on one of the sensors, stating that there was nothing wrong with the Honda sensing system. I have found class action lawsuits filed against Honda for faulty collision mitigation systems on at least two of their models (accord & crv). In addition, I have found pages of results for these problems with Honda and Acura (Honda corporation) when simply typing in "collision mitigation system problems". Please see the links below.
While accelerating onto a highway between 35 and 60mph, this vehicle occasionally exhibits a roaring sound that can fool the driver into believing that a large truck has come upon them and is immediately to one side or the other. This created an unsafe situation in my case when I took my eyes off the road ahead the first several times the noise occurred to visually search the sides for a closely approaching vehicle that did not actually exist. Honda has verified this roaring noise problem on my vehicle as well as numerous other 2018 Accord Hybrids, but has failed to correct the problem, informing me only that they are "searching" for a solution to the problem. I am used to the roaring noise now, and know when to expect it, but if someone else drives my car they will more than likely react in an unsafe manner exactly as I did during the first few noise occurrences.
New 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid makes low frequency "buzzing" noise while parked in garage several hours after 30 minutes or more ride. Buzzing noise not heard immediately after engine shut off. Noise not heard until serendipity accessing garage at least two hours after engine shut off. Multiple occasion "buzzing" sound located in trunk where lithium batteries are!.
Hello, on my way to grocery store I realized that my car wasn't rolling smoothly. Then I look on my dashboard and found the steering light and battery light popped up then after half block all other light lite up and the worst part was the steering wheel movement was harder I would say it was next to steer so I used emergency light and pulled the car on the side of the road and turned off the engine. After 10-15 minutes I was able to drive and safely reached a garage there the technician after inspection told me that the parts seems to be fine and car needs a software update . Which can only be done by a dealer.

After the car has warmed up, a high pitched whistling sound (think dog whistle) emits upon rapid acceleration between 30 and 70 mph. Have worked with Honda service depts, engineers, and customer service since February (estimated date) to no resolution. Noise began around 41k miles and has continued since. It is a distraction making it difficult to concentrate when driving.

My Honday Accord Hybrid does not come with a spare tire. It just comes with a sealing kit to temporarily repair the flat tire. On may 30th I was driving locally and got a flat tire. I tried the sealing kit according to its instruction, it did not do anything and I had to have my car towed away. The fact that the repair kit did not work at the time of need is one issue. My main issue is not that, it's the fact that this car does not have a spare tire and I don't feel safe driving it out of town. What would happen if I was travelling out of state, and had a flat tire, I could be stranded in the middle of no where. On June 14 I wrote a letter to Honda corporation and requested that they provide me with a compact spare tire that I can carry in my car trunk. They called me back and informed me that Honda will not provide me with a spare tire. I researched online and it seems like other owners of Honda hybrid have same concern and they don't feel safe driving this car either. In any case I believe that this is a safety issue that has to be addressed. Thank you.
I can't see clear image any object behind me because the rear windshield are waviness or curving around, steamy seems like you driving in a real hot desert area. I am worry about my safety because is hybrid car easy catch on fire and rear windshield are right above the huge pack of battery! the service manager of Honda checked & said every Accord Hybrid is like that on the windshield but not on regular gas accord. Honda can't change it because it might be the design of the hybrid.
The car will will randomly lose connection with the key less remote. This happened a dozen times and the dealership has been unable to fix the issue. This occurs most often when the car is on and stopped and the passenger gets out of the car; however, the car also lost connection with the key less remote while driving through the city.
After cranking the car the gearshift would not shift out of park. I had to pry the cap off the slot to the left of the p and stick a screwdriver in to release the gearshift and then pull it down to the neutral position. The car would then crank and shift like normal. This has happened many times since but always in the winter. It has happened in both michigan and arkansas. I always fear that one day it won't release and I will be stuck somewhere.
2005 Accord Hybrid - ima failure, takata recall air bags, and power steering failures. I have taken my hybrid in several times in the last 8 years with the ima and engine light on. Dealer did 2 computer upgrades to "fix" it. "not fixed"; I still have the ima and engine light on. Now no power steering or $1500. 00 to fix that and Honda sent me home with it not fixed - not safe! at one point I had no power as I was driving home from seattle to portland with no accelarator power. It was like I was coasting at 50 mph for about 75 miles until I reached my home. I took it to Honda dealer, they said it would cost me over $4500. 00 to replace the ima, which was under warranty when I first took it in in 2009, 2010, and after. They said "drive your car more". But my ima still comes on since I don't drive much since my stroke in 2012 and don't have $5-10k laying around. This should have been replaced under original warranty and the extended warranties. However, Honda refused to take responsibility. Now that I am beyond 8-9-10 year warranty, they will fix it all for $8-10k. I also have the takata air bag light coming on. I had a stroke in 2012, I cannot pay $5k, $10k, or even $2k. The Accord Hybrid was not included in the civic ima lawsuit, nor included in the takata air bag recall because there are only a few of us owners of original 2005 Accord Hybrids, but by the complaints I read; all have the same issues. I now have the power steering out and the dealer today sent me home charging me $250. 00 for an oil change and diagnostic; they told me what I told them and have been telling them since 2009 when I inherited it from my dad. Now I'm on disability and can't work. Honda wants me to pay them 10k to fix it all knowing it violates safety and health laws other laws they were sued for. I want Honda to fix my car or give me a new one all for free before I die in the dang car!.
