While driving ~70 mph on highway on adaptive cruise control, the car suddenly lost all power/acceleration, including power steering and all warning lights flashed on the dashboard. I recalled some were break system, acc, abcs, check engine, power, tpms. . . Etc. Essentially any warning light accord has was flashing. The car slowed with no power steering, I managed to parked on the shoulder and turned on hazard light. This is extremely dangerous as the highway traffic was extremely heavy. After I parked, I pressed the engine start/stop button thinking I needed to "turn it off" but the car already had lost power at that point anyway. After pressing it a couple times, the car restarted and I drove to the dealer with one error message remaining on the dashboard - "emission system problem. Power may be reduced. See you dealer. " and the check engine light was on.
The contact owned a 2025 Honda accord hybrid. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 mph and making a right turn onto the driveway, the vehicle unintendedly pulled to the left. The contact stated that while attempting to turn the steering wheel back to the intended direction, the vehicle accelerated unintendedly, and the brakes and the steering wheel were inoperable. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle crashed through the garage door, hit cabinets on the side, and drove on top of the cabinets, 3 inches from the ground, and stopped. The driver's side and passenger's side knee air bags deployed. The contact stated that the driver's side knee air bag deployed and broke the plastic underneath the dashboard, which injured the contact's legs. The emergency call (ecall) system activated and connected the contact with an operator, who then called an ambulance and the police on the contact's behalf. A police report was filed. Both the contact and her husband, who was occupying the front passenger's side seat, were transported to the emergency room by ambulance. The contact sustained hematomas on both legs, and the contact's legs were swollen. The contact was admitted for 5 days and was discharged to a rehabilitation center. The contact's husband did not sustain any serious injuries. The vehicle insurance company towed the vehicle to a tow yard. The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer advised the contact that the vehicle insurance company would need to file a claim with the manufacturer; however, the insurance company had already deemed the vehicle a total loss and had sold the parts of the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 5,300.
The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid. The contact stated that on three separate occasions, the vehicle would independently accelerate soon after start of the vehicle with his foot on the brake pedal. The contact also stated that the braking system failure warning light would be displayed on the instrument panel during the failure. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer twice for the same failure and both times he was informed that the failure was related to a defective battery and the battery was replaced. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure and a case was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

Vehicle stalled while driving on a highway with power system failure warning. I could not accelerate the car. I had to take the exit since I was luckily in the right lane and close to the exit. Car was running on battery only at around 30 mph. I pulled out in the parking lot, turned off power and turned back on and was able to reach home. I took the car to the dealer, they could not diagnose the issue right away and asked me to leave the cardie to drivability issue. They called us back after 2 days and told us that they updated the software. I do not feel safe driving this car. Please take necessary action immediately.
Pulling out of a shopping plaza onto the highway, driving about 20mph at first, the rear of the car started shaking mildly. Within a few seconds the car started shaking excessively, vibrating very loudly. I thought I had 2 flat tires but then the indicator lights came on. . . The check engine symbol and the "power system problem" I immediately pulled over and checked the vehicle all of the tires were ok. I sat for a few minutes letting it cool down started the vehicle and all of the display warnings were off I turned off the "econ" option and pushed the "ev" (electric vehicle) button hoping if the problem was related to that, those options would now be disabled I very slowly drove it home (about 2 miles). Driving about 55mph on the highway the exact same happened as above except this time the car slowed down almost immediately and the steering wheel got very loose I pulled into the median the rumbling is very concerning it is so aggressive that it sounds like the car is falling apart. It seems like the engine is all messed up. I'm not sure if the options I checked are correct, the options to check for the problems it might include something I didn't check mark or I might have check marked something unrelated. I just did my best to guess. I don't know a lot about cars so maybe you could verify that the information problem areas are correct. Thank you please advise the exact same thing happened.
After starting my car in a small parking lot, I shifted into reverse and I pressed gently on the accelerator the car lurched backward and kept accelerating even though I applied the brakes. After it had smashed into the parking lot curb, shrubs and cars parked 20 to 30 feet behind me, it finally stopped. The air bags deployed when and my car contacted the first fixed object. Fortunately, the other cars were empty so I was the only one injured. My car and two others sustained substantial damage. Two other cars were damaged slightly.

I previously drove my aunt's 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid on several occations. Almost as soon as the vehicle was purchased, on more than one occation, the brakes failed and caused accidents. The accelerator would also accerlerate on its own. The car would simply speed up on its own. The car would also at times stop or turn off on its own. I ussumed because the car was a hybrid or different that it was normal. At times when accidents would occur, I couldn't believe what had happened. The car literally drove away. A few times others drove the car and mentioned the same. My aunt previously tried trading in the the vehicle, but it was too expensive to trade in. On January 11,2011. A fatal accident occurred while driving this vehicle. My mother, whom is a precautious driver was driving my cousin to school and were involved in a fatal car accident. The Honda struck a school bus right in the middle. I believe the car like on many other occations accelerated on its own or the brakes failed. I feel devestated that I have lost my mother and cousin because of this accident, but feel that my mother was not at fault. She was always a safe driver and in this case I believe the vehicle was at fault.

I do not know if the vehicle was cold or warm for this incident
this event occurred within 3-4 minutes of starting the car
o a few weeks later the exact same thing happened again
this time the car had been driven for 30 minutes and parked for about 3 hours
this ?event? occurred within 3-4 minutes of starting the car
o we took the car back to the body shop and they had it checked out by poway Honda. No problems were identified and no problem codes were found
o a month or so went by without incident
