Turned key on put car intodrive and car took off did not touch anything.
Immediately on startup car surged forward with engine at full throttle without touching gas pedal and pedal was not depressed, crashing into brick building 3 feet in front of car .
The contact owns a 2000 Honda Civic. The vehicle had experienced a recurring failure in which the accelerator pedal or brake pedal would intermittently become stuck when it was depressed.
