1 Transmission Not Engage problem

Failure Date: 12/13/2007

The third gear in the 6 speed manual transmission does not fully engage under higher rpms causing grinding and a mis-shift. Causes major wear on the gears and synchros. Dealer refuses to acknowledge the problem and is claiming it is the drivers fault.

2 Transmission Not Engage problem

Failure Date: 10/20/2007

On my 06 Civic si's 6speed. The third and fourth gear do not engage, when then do they popped out and are rejected. This happens more frequently when it is cold however it also dose it when warm, randomly. The geartrain seems to be very notchy overall and getting worse. I have had this problem fixed by the dealer once but the problem quickly came back. The dealer refused to fix the problem again, claiming that it was not reproducible. 3 Transmission Not Engage problem

Failure Date: 05/22/2006

1. Problem has been occurring from the beginning. 2. In the 2006 Honda Civic si there is a grind going into 2nd gear at times, and also 3rd gear does not always fully engage. 3. Nothing was done to correct the failure. The dealer turned a shoulder and stated they were unable to replicate the very obvious problem.
