Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2014 Honda Civic

I was in an accident in on a highway on-ramp in which I rear ended a large passenger van at 35+ mph while the other vehicle was stopped. My airbags did not deploy, but the car seems to think they did because I have an airbag notification to "check airbag" that will not go away.
