Check Engine Light On problems of the 2019 Honda Civic

Tl- the contact owns a 2019 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the vehicle would suddenly began to jerk, loose automotive power and go into limp mode and the check engine light would illuminate. While in limp mode the vehicle would no properly accelerate. After stopping the vehicle the check engine would go off and the vehicle would operate as normal. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer auto nation Honda located at 23551 magic mountain pkwy, valencia, CA who diagnosed that the failure was caused by contaminated fuel. After draining the fuel system the contact retrieved the vehicle but the failures continued to occur. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The contact indicated that the failures had occurred after the vehicle was serviced in July 2020 for NHTSA recall campaign number 20v314000(fuel system). The failure mileage was 29,000. Jft.
