36 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/19/2021

2019 Honda Civic ex was running normally. Next day I start it up and nearly every warning light on the dash illuminates—no power steering, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, braking system, and more. Car is not drivable. At 39k miles Honda says it’s out of warranty.

The engine heat plate has fallen off twice during normal highway travel and dragging on the road causing sparks making my vehicle unsafe and unable to drive. The first time I paid to have it repaired. Now that this has happened for the 2nd time, I feel this is going to be an ongoing issue. The first incident happened in April of last year.

Intermittently the car will stall out when parked idling and then won’t restart for a few minutes after turning off. It acts as if it ran out of gas. The gas gauge is always at different levels when it happens. We have taken it to the dealer multiple times with no fix.

On Friday, April 2nd, I was driving home on the 710 fwy on the far left lane. I was driving around 75mph and there was an object on the ground which looked like an empty potato chip bag, it wasn't anything that would have done any damage to my car but my Honda sense's collision mitigation braking system activated for no reason and alerted me to brake and started applying pressure. I had no reason to stop so I had to swerve into the shoulder lane to prevent my car from braking unexpectedly which could have resulted into a deadly collision if there was a car close behind me. I have footage of the video and requested this to be looked into because if this is a faulty sensory issue, I would like it corrected immediately to prevent further issues. I do not want this to happen again because this incident was very dangerous when I did not have control of my own vehicle and it tried to override my command to keep driving straight.

Driving on I-64 in virginia when a loud pop was heard and saw glass off the back of the vehicle. Sunroof had shattered for no apparent reason.

When my phone rings while my radio is on and after I’m done with the call, it doesn’t go back to the radio it’s stuck in that call mode. . I have to stop and turn off my engine and start it back up to clear the settings/mode.

Unattended acceleration . The car surged by itself. The brake did not work. The car jumped a curb and went into a building. There it made a whole and with such force broke through bricks. The car only has 2800 miles and I leased it in oct. 19. I was pulling into a parking spot when it happened.

Irregular cooling from ac, same temperature control will feel cool one day and next day it feels like the car is not cooling much at all. I believe there is already a lawsuit about the same issue against Honda, but I can only become a party to that if I incur some repair expenses. I have had freon refilled twice and recently had ac condenser replaced (under warranty) but I am still not convinced it is working optimally for a car that barely has 5500 miles, despite being almost 2 years old.

I parked my car in the driveway and put the brake on and the car in park. I sat in my car while off for a minute while calling my son to ask him a question. About 30 seconds after I got out of the car and shut the door (there was no noise indication there was an issue), the car rolled out of my driveway and hit my neighbors car. When I went to check my car, the car was still in park and the red brake light was still glowing. I had brought my car in 2 times before this happened to complain that the electrical system with the stability control wasn't working properly. The car was braking on its on and lane assist kept coming on when it shouldn't have. Honda said all was good. The last time I brought it in, for the tire lights coming on, they said the tire sticker was too close to the rim and that's why there was an issue. This was after bringing it in for this problem 2 times to be told it was ok and they only addressed it after my flat. But within 30 minutes of driving away the lights came on again. For sure there is a problem with this car and I don't feel safe driving it.

All warning lights illuminate, have lost power steering, followed by complete loss of acceleration. This has occurred more than 8 times since purchasing the vehicle "new" on March 19, 2019. Have towed vehicle to dealer four times. Have sent still, and video documentation. Dealer service manager has told me they do not know how to fix this very serious problem. Contacted Honda corporate customer service, and they have been very slow to respond & resolve this issue. In addition, all warning light illumination issue has occurred when starting vehicle cold, without motion. Warning lights stay illuminated. Vehicle is unsafe to drive.

I was on a state road exiting on a ramp while the vehicle was in motion driving 40 miles per hour approximately two days ago. The vehicle while in motion and accelerating stopped. The car threw me back and forth causing me to go the er the following day. Reston hospital in northern virginia. I took the car right after and dropped off at dealership for repair. Dealership is not giving me any concrete answers if the car is safe to drive again. I read online a owner of a Honda 2019 Civic same as mine had the same problem of stopping while in motion while on a highway suddenly. I do have product update: fuel level sensor dtc space p0461 software update notice from Honda I just received. Do not know if this is involved with my current incident? I'm scared to drive my new car and now in pain medicine , muscle relaxer medicine and have been issued a plan to go to physical therapy from the doctor on call at the er.

On the driver side, it has some weird noise or sound. It sounds like the metal rubbing with the car. Searched the problem online before and found a lot of people having the same issue. Sometime even going straight still able to hear it.

I skidded backwards down the street in snowy conditions because 2019 Honda Civic si was shipped with summer tires instead of all season tires. The manufacturer's window sticker indicated that all season tires were installed when in fact, they were summer tires which were totally unsuited to driving in new england in winter. I only discovered this after I was unable to control the car. Honda is aware of this and has issued service bulletin 19-007, but has not notified all of the dealers and has not contacted the owners directly.

On December 20, I bought the car, Honda Civic type r 2019 red. Approximately the day I bought it, I noticed that when I put the second change to a strange noise, I told the seller emmanuel berrios and he told me that maybe it is me who is throwing the wrong changes. Time passes and I keep going more often I call America Honda the following month, which was in January about 3 weeks after buying the vehicle and I tell them that I am having problems with the transmission that every time I put the second change it makes me an strange noise, all the information is pointed out, the case number they give me is # 09236240 and in that case number is all the information previously mentioned. When I make the first change of oil and filter of the auto I communicate what of said failure and they tell me the car is well maybe they are theirs. On March 24 I noticed that when I put the car in second place the change after several days took the car to the dealer yesterday March 25, 2019 and today March 26 the manager calls me if he authorized it to lower the transmission since the codes that the car gave him did not say anything accurate and the technician tells him that there may have been a bad handling or a bad change and there is the communication to the service manager (xxxx) the car is new and since he bought it had a failure of transmission so mismanagement can not be and he tells me that the technician confirm that there was a mishandling or Honda guarantee or the extended that I put additional to the car would cover the damage and at that time I communicate from the beginning communicate problems of transmission.
