Vehicle fails to start randomly in the morning everything powers up and the screen lights up, but the car doesn't power up fully maybe fuel pump issue.
I called on the dealer to do the repair but the dealer don’t have the part, I asked to pay from my pocket to try to move forward but they still saying that is not available repair/parts and they don’t know when it will be available, the way that I use the car requires the car with all recalls updated, the dealer I contacted was in westford in massachusetts if the recall is not related to something safe, I just would like a letter saying that I can keep using the car while I wait for the part, and as I said, if I need to pay for that, I’ll pay, but I have to bring the car back to work.
The fuel pump gave out . The Honda dealership tried to fix the car multiple times ande fuel pump they fixed is steal leaking fuel. I was in the street driving home and the car auto stalled on me. I spent almost 2 grand to get it fixed and the dealership charged me and it got worse.
I am not sur what is causing all of the lights coming on dash as well as all safety features being lost when driving the car. Right now it is but the light and warnings may cut off. Cr stalls at times. Hose keeps coming off the turbo causing the car no to accelerate in traffic. Yes, without any of the features working my safety and others safety is at risk yes, the vehicle has been in the shop four times in 1 month for the same issue they say its fixed but the lights keep coming back on and I keep losing all safety features in the car. This is an on going issue 7/31 had car serviced for issue 8/10 light back on, hose loose again, 8/12 lights on again. 9/7 light back on have to take car to shop again. This is the 4th time.
On Sunday morning, 8/27/2023, I entered my car after having driven it an hour prior for around 30 minutes to and from a sandwich shop. I entered the vehicle and turned the engine on without issue, and attempted to accelerate. After making it about ten feet, the acceleration on the gas pedal suddenly stopped working. I would push the gas pedal and the car would not move, nor the engine even rev. Confused, I parked and turned the car off and on again. Upon turning the car on, the engine stalled for a brief moment before slowly engaging. It was at that moment that I felt the entire car shifting back and forth, shaking. I immediately shut the car off out of fear and waited for a few moments before making a second attempt, being met with the exact same result. The next day, I entered the vehicle and attempted to turn it on again. This time, it started up and the engine engaged without any issue. However, I was now bombarded by dozens of error messages on my dashboard with systems such as emergency break, abs, power steering, etc. Giving me warnings. This morning, I had a mechanic come out and attempt diagnose the issue. He was confused when running the diagnostic tool through the systems, as he received "permanent codes" regarding several issues with the car. Taking some time to research, his opinion was that there may be an issue with the fuel pump motor. There is an open recall on 2019 Honda Civics for the fuel pump, however my specific vehicle does not seem to show up as needing this fix when I search with my VIN. After taking some time to check things, the mechanic and myself proceeded to test drive and ensure that the car seemed safe to operate, where the mechanic approved my vehicle and encouraged me to send a report.
I was on my way to take my baby to daycare and all of a sudden fuel gauge system problem popped up. And then everything shut off. Had to park very close to the road because I was on a small road with culverts on each side. I had fuel in it I just drove it the day before with no problems. I don’t feel that’s a very safe feature on the car. I had no warning and my baby was with me. If it’s just a fuel gauge problem why did my whole car shut off? I have researched on Honda that 2019-2021 Civics had a fuel pump recall but my when I put my VIN number in it tells me no recalls. Just want some answers since my car isn’t that old.
Hello, I refueled my vehicle on 07/11/2023 after a completed service request at first texas Honda on 06/30/2023. The vehicle now smells like gas or fuel. The smell is overpowering and makes me dizzy when I drive and gives me a headache. The VIN: shhfk7h63ku223738 has previously been associated with a recall on the fuel pump. The additional repairs that were completed included: the infotainment system: the car infotainment system has also shutoff while driving. The dealership could not re-create the issue or concern. Air conditioner: there was also an issue with the driver side of the vehicle' air conditioner. The air conditioner wasn't working. Thank you for your efforts to maintain the safety of my vehicle. Warm regards, alicia tucker.
The car has been stalling to start for the last week. On 7/15/23 I parked my vehicle, all windows were up, I turned the vehicle off, got out and locked the doors, walked away and all of my windows went down half way and the sunroof opened, it has been stalling to speed up like it does usually.
Fuel filter went on vehicle causing it to stall with my child in the car. Dealership misdiagnosed and replaced the battery causing the fuel pump to fail going down a very steep hill. There's a VIN specific recall on my year, make, and model of car; but not my specific VIN. Yet my car has all the issues and descriptions that were defined in the recall warning.
I'm having problems with my 2019 Honda Civic. Fuel pump problems and my car has only 48000 miles on it. I read the recalls on Honda Civics and different sites state different things. 1 site says it has a recall on the fuel system and Honda says no.
The car won't start after I've driven it and it won't turn over it shakes and acts as if out of gas or a loose connection??electric. . I have to wait for 20 min. Before it will start. ,and I'm able to drive it. Other sites I've punched my VIN number at states Honda has a fuel pump recall for my car and other sites says it don't. ??.
My vehicle had an open recall for its fuel pump back in 2021 but I wasn’t having an issue at the time of the recall as of 6 months ago my car won’t turn on and the fuel smell that is in and thru out my car is so bad that. I cannot drive it , it has shut off on me while driving , I took it to a dealership in fresno CA only to be told there are no open recalls , I clearly told them it was back in 2021 that I received a letter telling me of this but cannot locate the letter I did my research and my year make and model car has the recall but it’s out dated what do I do ,.

Driving down interstate on 1/19/23 and car lost power. I had to move two lanes to the shoulder without getting hit by other drivers. Had car towed to local dealer and they said it was out of gas. The gas gauge said there was 44 miles to empty. On 2/16/23 I was driving to gas station and as soon as it said 44 miles to empty, the car stalled again. Unsure if fuel pump or fuel sensor issue. When I took it to the dealership the first time all they did was add 5 gallons of gas. Didn’t check fuel pump. No charge. I did pay $275 to have car towed to dealership. The second time I added 5 gallons of gas and then went to gas station and filled up.
Blackstone lab reports fuel in my oil (acceptable for city driving} however all my driving is highway driving. Car has 22,500 miles, that oil had 4,000 miles on it and had 1. 3% fuel all highway! back and forth between columbus, ohio and wyandotte, michigan. Emergency breaking will alert and apply break with nothing is in the way, and will not assist when something is right in front of car.
The starter was having trouble igniting the engine upon startup. The engine would crank but would not finish with starting up. I did this three or four times. Upon removing the key from the ignition and putting it back in the ignition and starting it up the car started up normally. The issue seems to be with either the ignition system or fuel system, which is available for inspection upon request. The car could suddenly stop without warning on the road and endanger the safety of myself or other drivers. The problem was previously acknowledged by NHTSA in two separate campaign numbers in may 2020 (20v314000) and March 2021 (21v215000) and this particular Civic was serviced in 2021in accordance with that recall and confirmed by the dealer. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.
My 2019 Honda Civic sport has 2 different recalls and this car has not been fixed or checked by a mechanic at this time, I was sent back home from my appointment at Honda loma linda dealership with a promised phone call to resolve the situation, which as today 1- car stall's unexpectedly while driving, when this happens it looses power. 2- ac was not working properly since the car was bought in 2022, I set my appointment at Honda dealership but service was denied due to some other vehicles priority, my phone calls were never returned and as today I've been spending out of my pocket trying to fix the issue on my own despite I had it reported to the dealership quite while ago.

I was driving my Honda Civic 2019 in the freeway- car pool lane. All of a sudden, without any warning light or symptoms, my car engine just stalled. I immediately switched on the emergency light and put the car in neutral gear and somehow made sure the cars behind me were aware that I am stalled. Luckily no crash/incident, but I was stuck in car pool lane still at the risk of car pile up accident. I called 911 and a cop showed in the next 5 minutes. He stopped all cars in all lanes and pushed my car gently over shoulder. Those 5 minutes was very risky and the scariest spot where me and wife were sitting in the car in the car pool lane while cars behind us were dodging us to avoid crash. Now, Honda is saying this may be fuel pump problem and when I checked my VIN in NHTSA, it has the incomplete recall for fuel pump. I wanted the concerned authorities to take action over Honda to recall all cars with this issue to replace fuel pumps immediately to avoid any crashes.
I accelerated into a driveway of a convenience store and as I was halfway through the driveway my gas pedal became unresponsive and would not accelerate. Car started rolling back into traffic. 2 weeks later my pedal became unresponsive on the freeway. I exited and immediately called thd dealer because I had already taken it to get checked out after the first incident and they basically said nothing can be done but to trade it in since the mechanic had already said there was nothing wrong.
I took my car in for servicing may 2021. When I was there the coral springs Honda dealer informed me that they ordered my parts for my cars recall. I called them in July to check on the status after failing to hear from them and they said they did not have the part. So now it is September and I am still here with a possibly faulty fuel pump. I want this recall situated.
I bought the car 4/1/2021, with 15,000 miles on it. In just 2 months, I have had two incidents of the car decelerating. When I was at a traffic light and from a complete stop, I accelerated and the car decelerated and almost stalled in the intersection. I was making a left-hand turn both times and if the car had stalled, an oncoming car could have hit me. This could have caused a serious accident. I notice there is a recall for this problem on other Honda models, but not my car. I am afraid to drive it now because I live in a major city and there is a lot of traffic.
I I brought my car into morehead Honda the dealer I purchased my vehicle from to get service because the car was acting funny. I then find out I had my car has a recall car with my car for the fuel pump. It was change the fuel pump I went home and a few days later I was stuck on the highway my car just shut down in the middle of the highway. My car was towed back to the dealership they found out there was something wrong with the fuel pump said they fixed it it was an error on their behalf. I returned several times after that because the fuel gauge is reading inaccurately. Dealer is unable to tell me what’s wrong. I fill up my car is giving me different readings my car normally falls up to 300+ close to 400 every time I fill up my car and now it’s reads 191, 150 or 140 when I fill up my car. I continue calling to dealership I am not getting a response. I need help with this it’s a safety issue.
Honda is refusing to fix the open recall I have on my 2019 Honda Civic. My car stalled and nearly caused me to have an accident. My car is also burning a lot of gas.
When pressing the accelerator the car stalls or bogs down especially when turning, but sometimes when simply accelerating. My wife and I are afraid that we might get hit when the car bogs out while turning. We really like the car, but need to eliminate the bogging condition.
Once I learned of the recall, I made an appointment in mid-July. When I went to my appointment, the advisor was not there, the part was not ordered, and a different advisor said they would order the part and it would arrive within a week. After more than a week, I called to check what was going on and they said the part was still waiting to be delivered the following day and I would receive a phone call when it arrived. I did not receive any phone call or notification that the part was in stock to be installed. About a week after that, I received a text and email stating that the work on my car (recall) was completed and they wanted my feedback. Since I showed up for my appointment to have the recall work completed, it has been more than two months and I have not receieved any call or notice from this Honda dealership to remedy the situaion. I called them this past week, left a voicemail, spoke to a diffferent advisor who could not tell me why I have yet to have the recall completed, and said I would receive a phone call from the second advisor (the one who ordered the part when my advisor was not present). I have yet to receieve any communication from this dealership about this recall or how to correct this situation.
I received an error message on my Honda Civic 2019 on Wednesday may 8, 2019 in the evening while the car was in motion on the highway. The message said "emissions system problem". When I got to my home, I put the car in park and researched what the error message might mean. I called Honda the next day and they informed that there was an active recall occurring with Honda Civics and that I should have received a notice. I had and have not received any correspondence in regard to a recall on the vehicle. I decided to search my VIN and there was no information available. I took my vehicle to ocean Honda in weymouth today and requested written notice of the recall. I received a service bulletin dated March 21, 2019, however I had leased my car after this date. I spoke with josh in the service department to find out why the service was not performed prior to my lease agreement. Josh informed that the recall is not safety related and is currently performing maintenance.
Some how my steering wheel is crooked, so while going straight, my wheel is around 2 or 3 inches to the left. If I turn it all the way, in either direction the wheel will click, click, click back, moving back the opposite direction with every click. I've changed both front cv axles, sway bar links, brakes, all 4 tires, bought 2 rims so far. Still having issues. Also makes a cluck sound while braking. Stalls while stopping and going a lot. Had fuel recalls done already. When a car is coming have to hit the gas pedal to the floor to get it to go. Almost killed me once while automatically braking while switching lanes. There was an 18 wheeler in front of me to start off with, I turned my signal on to get over in the lane beside of me, which had another 18 wheeler coming a way back. Once I got over the brakes automatically locked down due to sensing the the truck in the other lane. Every since then I keep that feature off. I wouldn't trade her for anything, it's been a wild ride and she keeps me on my toes. Literally. 120,000, 1 owner, 6 years March 2025!.
