1 Manual Transmission Seals/gaskets problem of the 2008 Honda Civic

Failure Date: 08/13/2022

The contact owns a 2008 Honda Civic. The contact stated while driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact was able to restart the vehicle however, after driving ½ mile, the vehicle stalled and failed again. The vehicle was towed to independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the head gasket was blown and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was notified of the failure, but the contact was informed that there were no recalls affiliated with the VIN. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.
