2 Wheel Rim problem of the 2007 Honda Civic

Failure Date: 10/31/2007

Had a flat tire two times when our car touched the curb. The car was traveling below 10 mph when the tire touched the curb. Both the times the edge of alloy wheels of my Honda Civic cut through the tire exactly at the point of the pressure. This happened twice. We also have a Honda accord and this happened a few times but never had a flat tire. The wheels are stock wheels and edges of the wheels are not curved out as most of the vehicles have them. Since the edges are not curved out the weight of the car along with the uncurved edges causes the tire to be cut.

3 Wheel Rim problem of the 2006 Honda Civic

Failure Date: 12/21/2006

The rim on the car broke too easily. I ran over a pot hole on the freeway and it cracked the inside of the rim and flattened the tire. The car is one month old and one rim plus the tire will cost $600.

4 Wheel Rim problem of the 2006 Honda Civic

Failure Date: 01/01/2006

I have a constant battle to keep the tire rims clean to prevent imbalance and vibration. In the winter the ice and mud have made it so bad one cannot drive over 30 mph. The rest of the time its just dirt build up and cleaning regularly is necessary.

5 Wheel Rim problem of the 1997 Honda Civic

Failure Date: 02/01/2001

I purchased an automobile from equitable car sales approx 2 years ago "as is". Recently, I took my vehicle in to a local shop for an oil change and they advised me that all 4 of my wheels on the car were cracking due to someone installing them too tightly. I called the dealership and they won't do anything about it since it was sold "as is". Now, I am unable to even drive the car without taking the chance of one or all 4 of the wheels completely coming off.
