One problem related to air bag not deploy has been reported for the 1997 Honda CR-V. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle was completlely stopped, and another vehicle rearended consumer. Upon impact air bag did not deploy, and the seatback broke. Vehicle was totalled.
