Srs light came on 2 months ago. Fear for my safety. Recall please. Electrical. Back rt window and rt front door lock cannot be operated from front driver door. Lighting. Back interior light does not turn off automatically. Paint is peeling from all over the car, especially on the front of it. Looks ghastly.
June 17, 2022 my daughter was hit on the driver side rear corner panel by a vehicle that ran a red light. The impact had enough force to spin her 2003 Honda crv 180 degrees yet none of the airbags deployed. The rear driver side wheel was bent inward and had to be towed.
The contact received notification of a recall for a 2003 Honda Cr-v she never owned. The srs light in my Honda crv recently went on, and remains on, when the vehicle is in operation. Last week, I took the car to Honda of princeton (local Honda dealer), who diagnosed the problem as a dtc 15-3 faulty opds sensor, and further explained that this faulty sensor could potentially cause the passenger-side airbag (replaced in a prior Honda crv recall) to not deploy in the event of an accident. Indeed, the repair documentation included a dealer statement that I had been made aware of the issue. I paid for this diagnostic work, which was overseen by bill demeter, who is a service lane manager at the dealer (tel: 609-423-2656). The dealer said it would not assume financial responsibility for the replacement of this faulty sensor since the defect is not currently the subject of a Honda product recall, and stressed that this defect is not covered by the various Honda airbag recalls, even though the faulty sensor could impair airbag deployment in an accident. This faulty sensor may cause non-deployment of the passenger-side airbag, and it would therefore seem self-evident that the defect places the safety of any front-seat passenger in my Honda crv at grave risk. Today, I called american Honda motor company (tel: 888-234-2138) concerning the faulty sensor, and spoke with "jennifer", who opened case #1267-5431 based on our call. Jennifer said the faulty sensor is not currently the subject of a Honda product recall. She also confirmed (I had already found the bulletin online and asked about it) that the Honda crv's faulty opds sensor was the subject of Honda service bulletin 06-006, which extended the warranty to 10 years for the faulty sensor, but she noted that the faulty opds sensor was no longer covered by this service bulletin or warranty. Jennifer said that american Honda motor CO. Would not assume financial responsibility for the faulty opds sensor on this basis, but suggested that I try to 'work with' the local Honda dealer to address the problem.
Jhlrd78833c012308 . I took my 2003 Honda into local Honda dealership in February or March of 2021 (unsure when exactly) for them to work on another recall. I had received another recall letter from Honda national corp. The dealership said I had already had this done. But now I looked up my VIN on NHTSA website and it says there is one "unrepaired recall" from June 27, 2019.
I was reviewing a list of recalls for my vehicle and I just wanted to know are there still recalls on it. I just purchased this vehicle on 02/21/2020 and I noticed the fuse box was only working on one side. And then riding the interstate it slowed don't and gradually picked back up speed. I think it's the fuel propulsion system as I read from an earlier report.
I purchased the 2003 Honda crv from anthony auto sales in thomson, GA on 2/21/2020. After purchase I noticed my cigarette lighter/charging port didn't work. Did a fuse test on it only to discover half of the fuses weren't working in the fuse box under the hood. I called to the dealership and they told me it may be an electrical problem I couldn't get the vehicle in because I was having surgery the following week. On February 25 while driving on the interstate the vehicle slowed down but picked its speed back up and for some reason it seems to get poor gas mileage. I like my vehicle I just want to know of any future and past recalls and would like to have them rectified since I now own the vehicle. Past reports have also shown problems with the airbags as well. There's a problem with the door locks as well.
I have responded to Honda's requests for information I no longer own my vehicle at least four times! I provided trade in info in 2008 when I purchased a new car. Why haven't they recorded the information I provided? I feel Honda is not acting in the best interest of the public when I see they don't record information such as I've provided numerous times.
"takata recall" the air conditioner goes out when the car hits any pot holes are bumps in the road. Also the suspension systems didn't work very well.
Airbags recall was taken care of and then the main airbag computer came on for all the airbags but Honda said that is not covered after they had tampered with the airbag recall the same year.
On 07-07-16 I had my car serviced at superior Honda of omaha due to an srs light illuminating on my dashboard. I was told by the service technician that the light could be a result of seatbelt failure because the srs system is a component of the seatbelts. When I had my 2003 crv serviced at superior Honda of omaha due to an srs light problem diagnosed, the issue was with the srs control module. The technician informed me that this part was not covered under the Honda lifetime warranty for seatbelts and I was charged 820. 35 to have it replaced. The service technician told me that when the srs illuminates, then it is possible the airbag and seatbelt system will not function correctly, so for safety concerns I agreed to the replacement. The following week, I contacted Honda corporate offices and spoke to a customer service representative (nicky). She gave me a complaint reference # 04820522 and I was then referred to her supervisor liz. Liz contacted me earlier this week and reiterated that the srs module is not a component of the seat belt system in Honda vehicles and that Honda is not responsible for reimbursing me for the repair. I disagree. Attached you will find a copy of my bill from superior Honda, a copy of a service news article from Honda that clearly states the srs is a component of the seatbelt system and a copy of the page in my owner's manual that states Honda's lifetime warranty and component coverage. I would like to be reimbursed for this bill. Thank you.
The signal srs appears in the monitor. I received the last recall for the air bags on 2015, and the service center take action of this but about 1 month ago, the srs is on the monitor while the car is turn on.
I had a wreck and I flip and hit a dirt bank and no one air bag worked. My sister and I have broken necks. My sister has a broken knee cap. I'm mad that I could have kill my sister with her just being s pasgner in my car. I was driving on a two lane hey.
"takata recall at my local Honda dealers request I made an appointment to get my airbag repaired according to the recall. Upon repair my car was returned with the "srs" light continually on. I inquired about this issue and was informed the srs system failed this was never a problem before the repair and Honda called the incident coincidental. The repair resulted in having no airbag system at all. I realize the car is a 2003, and I'm not as upset as I am disappointed (just to be clear), but this doesn't feel right to me and found your website in an article in consumer reports magazine and am wondering if this is a valid complaint report-able to you.
The contact owns a 2003 Honda Cr-v. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15v320000 (air bags) however, the part needed to repair the vehicle was unavailable. After having completed a recall for both air bags on my car, I received a second recall notice from american Honda stating in bold and underline that "even if your vehicle was previously repaired, your vehicle is still covered by this recall and will need to be repaired again. " after checking the website showing current recalls (finding none), calling my local Honda dealer and calling american Honda (both checking the same database), I am told that there is no recall on my vehicle. I am disappointed in having to spend this much time checking into this possible incorrect statement. If, for some reason this recall notice is correct and not in the VIN database correctly, I wanted to record in your database that I did everything I could to get this recall completed. If the database is accurate then this statement must be changed on future recall notices.

We received a recall notice from Honda for the takata air bag in this vehicle earlier this year. My daughter, who drives this vehicle, contacted autopark Honda 3630 old raleigh rd, cary, nc 27511 (919) 467-4747 in early March and was told the part was not available and they would contact her within two weeks when the part arrived. She did not get a call back. She called again mid April. Same story. I called on Monday June 8 and talked a person in service. She said they had no record of any previous contacts about this. She checked for my daughter's name and phone number and address and for my name, number and address and found no matches. Since it has been three months since we started this recall process and the local dealer has not been effective, I am filing this complaint to see if we can get some help. I am very concerned about my daughter's safety driving this vehicle, which she uses to get to and from her job and for other transportation needs. I find it hard to believe that the dealership has no record of her previous contacts. I plan to call again tomorrow to give them the VIN number since I did not have it with me when I last called. But I want to be on record that this has been an unsatisfactory result for a safety recall.

Received NHTSA recals 14v-349 & 14v-351. Called local dealer who said they had to order parts. It's been over 6 weeks, and today I was told it would take another 4-8 weeks to get parts. This recall is for airbags, which makes it a big safety concern. Not only are the aribags in my car faulty, but the company who issued the recall can't supply the proper parts to the local dealers. Honda should be fined big time!!! if I get in a crash and I am injured, Honda will have a huge lawsuit!.

I have been trying since before February 12 to get the recalled airbags fixed, but 2 dealers have told me the parts are on back order until "some time in April. " I keep getting repeat letters warning me that the faulty airbags "could kill or injure you or other people in your vehicle," and the letters state there can be "provision of, or reimbursement for, temporary alternative transportation, as necessary. " but both Honda dealers I've contacted have refused to provide this alternative. My 2003 Honda crv is my only car; thus, it's my only means of transportation.
