Front Air Bag problems of the 2003 Honda CR-V

1 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 01/18/2005

Recall campaign' crv-v srs cable reel connector. Consumer feel Honda should provide service back home and to pick up car.

2 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2004

The consumer received a recall notice in may for a faulty srs cable reel connector. The dealer informed the consumer that the part to perform the recall repair was not available. Recall# 04v255000.

3 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2004

Involved in head-on collision with mid-size sedan, me - 35 mph, her - 15 mph. Car was impacted 2 in left of center of license plate (driver's side) driving radiator up through engine. Passenger's air bag deployed, driver's did not. Driver's shoulder harness failed. Driver received multiple contusions to face, chest, pelvis and sprained neck and upper & lower back.

4 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 11/07/2003

Steering wheel and air bag. Position either puts driver at risk of injury from air bag, or driver cannot see the dash gauges. Both are serious design flaws (and potentially safety issues) on this vehicle, 2003 Honda crv, ex model.

5 Front Air Bag problem

While traveling at 30 mph another vehicle ran a stop sign, causing consumer to lose control. Vehicle was airborne, landing on a telephone pole. None of the vehicles airbags deployed.
