I have a new Honda crv with 1,600 miles and 3 days ago while driving on the highway my bridgestone tire blew apart, sending the tire across 3 lanes of highway. A deputy sheriff was driving ,and he stated he had never had a blowout like that and felt it was probably a defective tire.
The steering wheel started shaking while driving 55 mph. The consumer pulled to side of road and stopped, he checked all the tires and the noticed left rear tire had blown out and was shredded. The steel belt inside of tire was wrapped around the tire. The vehicle was towed to schwabs, and all tires were replaced.
