Takata recall - I was stopped attempting to make left turn and was suddenly hit from behind causing me to hit a parked car in front of me. Tl-the contact owns a 2004 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while driving 15 mph, another vehicle crash into the contact vehicle on the passenger side the air bag failed to deploy. The vehicle was towed to contact resident then later on the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the chassis bottom part was broken do to a missing part that cover the chassis and needed to be repaired. 2004 Honda Cr-v. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle airbag problems. The consumer received the air bag recall notice in January 2015. The vehicle was taken to the dealer in February to complete the recall. The consumer was involved in a head-on accident in April 7, 2015 and the air bags did not deploy. While driving 40 mph, the consumer's vehicle was nearly involved in a front end collision. While avoiding the collision, the vehicle lost control and dropped down a 30 foot embankment. Upon impact, thedual air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained a broken neck in three places, major back injuries, and fractures of seven ribs. The vehicle was totaled. None of the side airbags deployed either.

16 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Defect regarding wiring harness of the driver's front air bag being incorrectly wired. The vehicle was in an accident. In order to avoid being struck by an ongoing van, the consumer skidded off the road and hit a pole. The air bag never deployed.
