Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2004 Honda CR-V

I was involved in a high speed motor vehicle accident on ca980. The airbags did not deploy. I brought my Honda crv in for recall for the airbags in ~Jan 2020 to get this recall fixed, so I do not know what happened.

Tl- the contact owns a 2004 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while driving at 40 mph, a deer walked in front of her vehicle without warning. While trying to avoid the deer, the vehicle veered down two embankments, hit several trees, and rolled over. The air bags failed to deploy during the incident. The contact sustained minor injuries and a few abrasions. The passenger sustained severe cuts to the right side of his body and had to be air lifted to a local hospital. The passenger was taken to froedtert hospital 9200 w wisconsin Ave, milwaukee, WI 53226 414-805-3000 where he was treated for cuts to the right fore arm and upper arm, forehead and shoulder. The contact also sought medical attention for her injuries at aurora medical center grafton 975 port washington rd, grafton WI 53024 262-329-1000, where she treated for the removal of glass from her legs and scalp. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and the vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 144,000. Jo.

The vehicle was towed to contact resident then later on the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the chassis bottom part was broken do to a missing part that cover the chassis and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure m\mileage was 140,357. Aw.

2004 Honda Cr-v. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle airbag problems. The consumer received the air bag recall notice in January 2015. The vehicle was taken to the dealer in February to complete the recall. The consumer was involved in a head-on accident in April 7, 2015 and the air bags did not deploy. While driving 55 mph the consumer hit a deer in her 2004 Honda crv. Although the vehicle had front end damage the air bags did not deploy. The vehicle's throttle also became stuck. The consumer requested that Honda consider this incident to change the design location of the throttle.

While driving 45 mph consumer's vehicle was involved in a frontal collision. Upon impact, dual airbags did not deploy. No injuries reported.

The consumer was involved in a frontal collision while driving approximately 55-60 mph and the driver side air bag failed to deploy, but the passenger side air bag did deploy.

While driving 40 mph, the consumer's vehicle was nearly involved in a front end collision. While avoiding the collision, the vehicle lost control and dropped down a 30 foot embankment. Upon impact, thedual air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained a broken neck in three places, major back injuries, and fractures of seven ribs. The vehicle was totaled. None of the side airbags deployed either.

Defect regarding wiring harness of the driver's front air bag being incorrectly wired. The vehicle was in an accident. In order to avoid being struck by an ongoing van, the consumer skidded off the road and hit a pole. The air bag never deployed. The consumer received a recall notice regarding the wiring of the air bag.
