2 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

Failure Date: 04/04/2012

The contact owns a 2010 Honda Cr-v. The contact was driving 15 mph when the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the dealer advised the contact that the VIN failed to qualify for repairs under NHTSA campaign id number:11v395000 (power train:automatic transmission:control module -tcm,pcm). 3 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

2010 Honda crv. Consumer states unintended acceleration the consumer stated as he/she slowed down with his/her foot on the brake to park, the vehicle continued in motion. Before the consumer realized what was happening, she/he had already hit a fence, which ripped the bumper from the vehicle. 4 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

The contact owns a 2010 Honda Cr-v. The contact started the ignition, and shifted into park with the brake pedal engaged, suddenly the vehicle surged forward. The intermittent failure occurred whenever shifting into the park position. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer six times for the identical failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The technician stated the failure was common and the vehicle operated normally. The contact stated there was a recall related to the defect under NHTSA campaign id number 11v395000 (power train: automatic transmission: control module (tcm, pcm); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 1,465.
