I was in a major car accident. My Honda Cr-v air bags did not deploy. Due to the accident I have a neck and back injury. My insurance company has declared my vehicle a total loss. On the passenger side the airbag light came on and it won’t go off. I’m the only one that drives my car. I don’t drive that much! the only time I drive is, when I’m going grocery shopping in morning’s and on weekends running a few errands in the morning’s time. I hit a pothole in my car, and the side roof airbags deployed, compressing my neck and back, and left me with a head and back injury. No other airbags deployed, and there isn’t a single mark on the body of my car. No warning or indication lights at all prior to the incident. I have not made an insurance claim or police report, there were no passengers or other drivers involved. I am not prepared to pay a deductible for repairs that were unexpected and no fault of my own. Airbags did not deploy after being hit. Other driver's vehicle took off the whole front my car. Took a hard hit to the head from the door frame as none of my air bags deployed.

On 5/27/2020 at 11:20 pm my 2014 Honda crv was parked in front of my home and suddenly combusted. First smoke appeared on the driver side then flames. It was last driven around 9:45pm that evening without issue. The vehicle has no history of physical or mechanical malfunction. The incident set off my ring bell camera since it motion sensitive (will provide footage if requested).

Lights that indicate that the bags are always off. Apparently airbags don't work.

On 04182019 morning 7:00 am I was driving in my residential area, at the intersection a lady coming from offroad tried to get in to main road and I was in main road and she came and hit my car at passenger side. Both passenger and driver side of the airbag didn't deployed. I got hurt my chest by hitting the steering. Passenger side of the car airbag got stuck behind the wheel. Tpns light is on permanently even though tires are inflated correctly no way of knowing when tyres need inflating light on will not allow emissions test to be completed in MA unless its fixed passenger air bag stays on for long periods of time also it makes a noise when started in the morning or when idle for a couple of hours air conditioner is not working right.

Is my car being recalled for airbags?.

Takata recall: I contacted several dealerships in san marcos and san antonio in March 2016. I was told then, there were no parts available to fix the recall and no loaner cars available for those effected. We were told parts would be available early summer. Now we receive a letter that says parts will not be available until the fall. I am a working mother of two with no other vehicles to drive. So my children and I are forced to drive around in this death trap, with no end in sight. The anxiety is causes us is great and we have limited our travels this summer, due to fears of something happening. This is not right!!! we need a loaner vehicle, so that my family can be safe until parts are made available.

Did not deploy 2016 accident in motion street.

June 26, 2014 to whom it may concern, my husband and I were driving east down highway 55 at around 8a. M. On June 23, 2014. A deer came out quickly from the driver’s side of the car and hit our new Honda Cr-v. The driver’s side was quite caved in and my airbag deployed. I was in the passenger’s side. My husband’s airbag did not. He hit the steering wheel with his shoulder. We were quite shook up and sore afterward. The officer that came to file the report mentioned that he was surprised that the driver’s airbag did not go off and that in order to move the Cr-v he suggested we tow in case the airbag would still go off. This situation has made us quite nervous about driving this particular vehicle because the airbag did not go off. We would appreciate Honda investigating this matter. We would like to have a vehicle that is equipped properly should we be in a collision. And we are concerned that with this particular vehicle that is not the case. The passenger airbag off light on the 2014 Cr-v is illuminated when the seat is occupied by an adult and it is not illuminated when the seat is empty or occupied by a child. At first I thought there was a problem with my vehicle since this is exactly opposite of how every other car implements this. However, this is how it is written in the owner's manual and this is what I was told was normal by my car dealer. This is stupid to the point of being dangerous--an illuminated display that states: passenger air bag off lights when the seat is occupied by an adult and the air bag is actually on. An elderly or infirm person might sit in that seat and think that the airbag is off so it is safe. A parent might refuse to let a child sit in the seat for fear the airbag was on. This is really dumb.

I bought a new Honda crv 2014 model on 10/04/2013. On 10/24/2013, I wore flip flops while going to pick up my son from the school, which is 5 miles away from my home. My leg got stuck and I couldn't move my leg from gas pedal to apply brakes, as I entered the school premises. Car started to accelerate as my flip flop got stuck in the groove between plastic and metal trim next to the gas pedal. I swerve of the road and hit a tree to avoid collision with the vehicle in front of me. I think there is an issue with the way the trim is designed in Honda crv 2014 models. If someone wearing a flip flop?s while driving, it can get stuck in the trim and cause fatal accidents. I didn?t see this issue in older model years of crv. My family is traumatized by the accident and very scared to sit or travel in the car. I was fortunate to come out of it without any major injuries but this may not be the case for others.
