: I was jacking up my Cr-v using the scissors jack came with the car. Then the jack failed on me. Luckily I was not under the car. The car pushed the jack to the opposite side from me. I was not hurt. The car had no visually damage. The jack was broken and the steel bar strike into my garage floor. It was a very dangerous moment. The jack was rated 1350kg. It should hold the weight of half of the car. The vehicle was stationary in my garage.
