The contact owns a 2019 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while his wife was seated in the passenger seat, the vehicle's air bag sensor would intermittently fail to recognize her in the passenger seat as the air bag off warning light would appear on the instrument panel. The contact had notified the dealer of the failure and informed him that unless they could duplicate the failure, the could not diagnose or repair the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was given a case number. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.
