The module for the interpretation of sensor output caused the reporting of false alerts. The vehicle is available for inspection. My safety was compromised by 10 alerts recurring alerts as I was driving at the posted speed on in interstate highway. The problem has not been reproduced. If the car is parked outside on a day where temperatures exceed 95 degrees fahrenheit, it causes the front sensor camera to malfunction. This is a common issue with crvs and is heavily documented in online forums. The overheating results in the vehicle’s features dependent on the camera and sensors to malfunction, causing a serious driving safety issues. The car’s audible notification system also goes off, resulting in constant beeping chimes while driving the vehicle.
Periodic irregular intervention by the vehicle safety system applying braking force and/or steering input to no threat. Mainly happens at highway speeds, but sometimes occurs just above 40 mph.
2 issues: 1. Automatic emergency braking started braking randomly when there was no danger at all. 2. Got lane departure warning a few times, when the vehicle actually stayed in the lane.
